In the Season 15 entry (patch 3.2.1) on D4Guides, its unique effect grants 20% Damage Reduction and, while you are at full Life, your skills unleash a divine barrage for 13,817 damage. D4Guides also says any uber boss can drop it at the same rate and that it cannot be farmed on purpose. That drop claim comes from a third-party database, not from an official Blizzard drop table.
Tyrael’s Might at a glance
The values below come from D4Guides’ Season 15 database entry, which was last updated October 8, 2026 and is labeled patch 3.2.1. Item values change with balance patches, so confirm them on your own copy in game before you commit to a build around them.

What the unique effect does
Tyrael’s Might has two layers of defense and one offensive trigger. The first layer is a flat 20% Damage Reduction in the unique effect. The divine barrage is the second part: it only fires while your Life is full, so its uptime depends on how often you are actually at full Life during combat. Builds that heal back to full frequently or that avoid taking damage will get more out of the trigger than builds that spend long stretches under full pressure.
The barrage’s 13,817 damage is a single listed value. D4Guides does not break it down by skill, scaling, or damage type in the entry, so the number tells you the magnitude of the effect, not how it will interact with your specific skill tree or gear.

Affixes
The entry lists four affix lines:
- 20.0% Damage Reduction
- +17% Movement Speed
- +400 Resistance to All Elements
- +25.0% Resistance to All Elements
The 20% Damage Reduction appears both in the unique effect text and as a separate affix line. D4Guides does not explain how the two interact, so compare the tooltip on your copy to see how the game presents it.
Patch history: what changed in 3.2.1
D4Guides’ changelog records two changes in patch 3.2.1:
- The divine barrage damage value changed from 450 to 13,817.
- 20% Damage Reduction was added to the unique effect.
If you are reading older guides or videos, they may still list the 450 figure or omit the Damage Reduction line. Those versions describe a previous state of the item.
Where Tyrael’s Might drops
D4Guides answers the question “Where do I get Tyrael’s Might?” by saying it drops from any uber boss at the same rate and cannot be farmed on purpose. That is the entry’s guidance, and it should be credited to D4Guides.

What the drop claim does and does not establish
- It establishes D4Guides’ position on how the item is obtained in Season 15.
- It does not establish an official Blizzard drop table, so the “same rate” wording should not be presented as independently verified.
- Blizzard’s official Diablo IV site describes the game as an action RPG with equipment and loot and notes that core updates can change builds. It does not, in the material reviewed, list drop rates for this item.
In practice, expect to acquire Tyrael’s Might as a random drop rather than through a dedicated farming route. If a future patch or Blizzard statement changes the drop rules, the D4Guides entry should be treated as the source to re-check.
Is Tyrael’s Might current?
As of the D4Guides entry updated October 8, 2026, the item is listed under Season 15 patch 3.2.1, and its values are the ones shown above. The entry itself warns that these values should be rechecked after a subsequent balance patch. A balance patch or season change can alter the damage value, the damage reduction, or the drop information without a new guide being written, so confirm the current values in game before relying on them.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. When Tyrael’s Might fits a build
No source establishes a universal ranking for chest armor, and Tyrael’s Might should not be treated as mandatory or best in slot for every class. Judge it against four questions:
- Build synergy: Does your build benefit from a full-Life trigger, and do your skills work with a barrage that fires on that condition?
- Survivability needs: Is 20% Damage Reduction plus the listed resistances more useful than the defensive stats your current chest provides?
- Chest slot opportunity cost: What would you lose in movement speed, resistances, or specific chest affixes if you swap out your current chest?
- Play pattern: Do you spend enough time at full Life in combat for the divine barrage to matter, or do you play in ways that keep Life lower?
Compare the item against your current chest with the same questions. If the full-Life condition rarely applies to your play, the item’s value rests mainly on its defensive and movement stats.

Flavor text
The item’s in-game flavor text reads:
“Thus Tyrael, a perfect aspect of Justice, came to be. None were more vehement against the forces of hell. All demonic entities learned to shudder at Justice’s might.”
— The Books of Jarl, Volume I
The quote is fictional in-game lore attributed to an in-world book. It is not a developer statement or an interview.
Not the same as the Tyrael pin
Blizzard’s Gear Store sells a physical Diablo Tyrael FiGPiN character pin. It is a fandom collectible, not the in-game chest armor. The store listing does not identify it as Tyrael’s Might, it has no gameplay effect, and it notes BlizzCon pickup restrictions, with shipped orders handled through the store.
Blizzard’s Diablo IV merchandise catalog also includes general physical merchandise, but no item specifically named Tyrael’s Might was found there.
