The announcement made Voldex the new operator of one of Roblox’s largest community-driven games. It did not disclose the purchase price or full transaction terms.
What happened to Brookhaven?
Voldex announced the acquisition on February 4, 2025. In its announcement, the company called Brookhaven Roblox’s most visited game and reported more than 60 billion lifetime visits and more than 120 million monthly active players. Those are Voldex’s company-reported figures, not independently audited measurements. Voldex acquisition announcement, republished by Silicon Canals
Voldex estimated that its portfolio reached more than 145 million monthly active players after the acquisition. That is a portfolio-wide estimate, not Brookhaven’s audience figure. Lifetime visits count visits over time; monthly active players describe activity within a month. They are different measures and should not be treated as interchangeable.
Voldex CEO Alex Singer later said the acquisition had officially closed, thanking Wolfpaq for entrusting the game to Voldex. Alex Singer’s closure announcement

What is Brookhaven on Roblox?
Voldex says Wolfpaq created Brookhaven in 2020. It is a social sandbox and roleplay experience rather than a linear game with a fixed story to complete: players can hang out, inhabit homes, drive vehicles, explore a city, interact, and make up their own narratives. This description reflects Voldex’s account of the game. Voldex’s announcement describing Brookhaven
Who owns Brookhaven now?
Voldex acquired Brookhaven, and Singer’s later statement confirmed that the acquisition closed. Wolfpaq is identified as the game’s creator; Voldex’s statement thanked him for entrusting the experience to the company. The public materials cited here do not establish the sale price, detailed financial terms, or contractual structure.

Who is Voldex?
Voldex is a game studio whose business includes acquiring, improving, and building games on user-generated-content platforms such as Roblox and Minecraft. Andreessen Horowitz described the company that way in a January 24, 2023 investment announcement and identified Alex Singer as its founder and CEO; that is historical investor context, not a current audited company profile. Andreessen Horowitz: “Investing in Voldex”
Voldex’s current brand-partnership page invites companies to work with its games, and its materials document branded integrations in Brookhaven. That offers context for how a studio operating a large player-made world can also pursue brand partnerships; it is not evidence of an affiliate program or a consumer product tied to the acquisition. How to read Voldex’s audience figures
The figures refer to different audiences and reporting points, so keep their source and scope attached:
- Brookhaven at the February 2025 announcement: Voldex reported more than 60 billion lifetime visits and more than 120 million monthly active players. February 2025 acquisition announcement
- Voldex portfolio after the acquisition: the company estimated more than 145 million monthly active players across its portfolio. This is the historical post-acquisition estimate, not the Brookhaven-only figure. February 2025 acquisition announcement
- Voldex brand-partnership page: accessed October 8, 2026, the page displays 140m+ monthly active users. This is a current company marketing figure with a different reporting point and potentially different scope; it should not be substituted for the 2025 portfolio estimate. Voldex Brand Partnerships
- Wicked: For Good integration: Voldex’s case study reports more than 780 million visits to the Brookhaven campaign integration. It is a campaign-reported visit total, not a count of unique people. Voldex’s Wicked: For Good case study
These are Voldex-reported or Voldex-published marketing figures, not independently verified measures. The sources cited here do not establish a change in Brookhaven’s present-day audience.

What the acquisition means for players
The acquisition establishes Voldex as Brookhaven’s operator, but the public statements cited here do not spell out specific changes to gameplay, ownership arrangements for players’ creations, or future plans. Voldex said, “We’re honored to be entrusted to carry forward Brookhaven and its incredible community, and we’re committed to building upon what makes it special.” That is the acquiring company’s statement of intent, not a guarantee of particular updates.
