What is happening at the ceremony?
The gathering is a funeral for Denz Bellardo, a former pirate also identified as Jerrycan Denz. The ceremony’s guests are waiting for one more attendee: Fidelio, who is expected to inherit Bellardo’s riches. The quest’s central mystery is who Fidelio is—and what to do about the inheritance.

- Find out what is happening at the ceremony.
- Uncover Fidelio’s identity.
- Settle the question of who inherits Bellardo’s estate.
- Return to the crematorium and demand answers.
After the guests appear to mistake the Rogue Trader for Fidelio, the listed objective sends the player back to the crematorium. The page also records clues involving a note in the remembrance book, the word “repentance” and a possible ship called Repentance, Denz’s reports of “dead eyes,” an Administratum clerk’s offer regarding documents, and a servitor removing amasec after hearing the name von Valancius. These are clue-like details recorded on the community wiki; they do not establish a single optimal route.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Can you choose who inherits the estate?
Yes. The quest page confirms that the Rogue Trader can intervene in the inheritance question. It does not document the consequences of each possible choice in enough detail to recommend one or compare outcomes. It also does not provide a reliable reward table or establish downstream quest or reputation effects, so treat any specific claim about rewards or the “best” inheritance choice as unconfirmed by this source.
