Was FIFA 22 ever included with EA Play?
Yes. EA announced that FIFA 22 joined The Play List on June 23, 2022. The Play List is EA Play’s catalog of games included with a membership, but FIFA 22’s later removal means that past inclusion does not provide access now.

EA’s removal notice names Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Steam, and the EA App. The notice establishes the removal for those listed platform and store contexts; it should not be generalized to other platforms.
Can you still play FIFA 22?
EA Play membership
An EA Play membership no longer provides FIFA 22 through The Play List. EA says members can search for games in the EA App on Windows PC or Mac, but that general catalog guidance does not override FIFA 22’s removal notice.

A used physical copy may be an option if it matches your console. Check the specific listing for platform, disc condition, and availability: current stock and price are not established here, and a PS5 disc will not serve as a PC copy. A disc is a separate purchase, not EA Play access.
Does FIFA 22 still have online play?
No online services or features should be expected. EA lists November 4, 2024, as the retirement date for FIFA 22 online services and features. That notice does not specify the status of every offline mode on every platform, so check the game and platform details before buying if offline play is your goal.
