The Unreal Engine 5 MMORPG Legend of YMIR is no longer upcoming: WEMADE’s global PC and mobile service launched on October 28, 2025, and its separate Steam-region release followed on April 7, 2026. The distinction matters because Steam is not simply another doorway into the same regional service.
When did Legend of YMIR launch?
WEMADE announced the Legend of YMIR global launch for October 28, 2025, at 12:00 UTC+8. That service launched for Windows PC, Google Play, and the Apple App Store. WEMADE later announced the Legend of YMIR Steam launch for April 7, 2026.
The “nears launch” description dates from earlier coverage. A February 18, 2025 Notebookcheck report focused on the impending South Korean release and said access outside South Korea was then uncertain; it does not describe current availability. Notebookcheck’s February 2025 report is useful as historical context, not as a current release guide.
Which version should you download?
WEMADE describes Legend of YMIR as a Norse mythology MMORPG built with Unreal Engine 5, featuring class-based combat and large-scale server battles. The publisher’s launch announcement listed five classes, including Archer. Those are publisher descriptions, not independent assessments of gameplay or performance.

Will your PC or phone run it?
The figures below are from WEMADE’s pre-download specification notice and should be treated as the published requirements at the time of that notice, not a guarantee of performance on every device. Check the official specification notice and current client information before installing, since requirements can change.

The RTX 3060 is a component named in WEMADE’s recommended PC specification, not a tested graphics-card recommendation or an endorsement of a particular model or retailer. Since the game also has mobile versions, buying a PC graphics card is not necessary for every player. WEMADE warns that devices below the stated mobile minimum may not run the game and that performance can vary with network connection, operating system, and PC maintenance.
What does the reported player figure mean?
WEMADE reported nearly 200,000 concurrent users for the global version after its October 2025 introduction, as described in its publisher update. This is a historical figure reported by WEMADE, not an independently audited count or a measure of the current population. It should not be used to infer how many people are playing now.
