Season 03 Reloaded was a May 2025 update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone, not a new or upcoming release. Activision announced two Multiplayer maps, new Zombies content, and several Verdansk changes; the announcement does not confirm which limited-time modes, events, or rewards are still available on October 8, 2026.
When did Season 3 Reloaded arrive?
Activision announced the update for May 1, 2025, at 9 a.m. PT across platforms. Its April 29, 2025 announcement described the headline additions as two new Multiplayer maps, Directed Mode for Shattered Veil, and updates to Verdansk.

What maps were added in Season 3 Reloaded?
The two maps offered different sizes and match formats, according to Activision’s announcement:

What changed in Multiplayer?
Joint Operations
Joint Operations was announced as a limited-time 6v6 gauntlet that cycled through Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Order, and Kill Confirmed. Each mode lasted two minutes, with the sequence randomized for each match. Breaks between modes introduced modifiers, including third-person view, visual impairment, double health, Hardcore rules, paranoia sounds, low gravity, double jump, and increased movement speed. The announcement also listed a “+420 Score Bonus.” These are publisher-described mode rules, not independent performance statistics.
Vendetta perk
Vendetta was a Recon perk for slot 2. After you respawned, it briefly marked the last known position of the player who eliminated you; eliminating that enemy earned bonus score. Activision said the Vigilance perk countered Vendetta’s mark. The announcement’s Vendetta details describe the mark as a last-known position, rather than a continuing live trace.
What was new in Zombies?
Zombie Snacks changed health into an energy-management challenge
Zombie Snacks was a limited-time mode announced for Shattered Veil, The Tomb, Citadelle des Morts, Terminus, and Liberty Falls. It replaced the Operator health bar with an energy meter. In Standard mode, both movement and damage depleted energy; in Directed mode, only damage did. Food, perks, GobbleGum, Stimshot, and certain ammo-mod effects could replenish it. Eliminating ten zombies without taking damage triggered Flow Mode, which provided damage and other boosts until you were hit.

Frost Blast and Directed Mode
Frost Blast returned as a Field Upgrade that created a blizzard, dealing frost damage and slowing enemies. Activision said it had unlockable Major and Minor Augments. Directed Mode also arrived for Shattered Veil: it added Main Quest guidance and capped rounds at 15, giving players a more guided route through that map’s quest.

Ray Gun Mark II
The base Ray Gun Mark II was added to the Mystery Box on existing Zombies maps. Activision’s Zombies update details distinguish that addition from the Shattered Veil-specific Directed Mode.
What changed in Warzone?
The announced Verdansk updates served different purposes: looting, contracts, vehicle traversal, and competitive play. These were features described for the 2025 update, not confirmation of what is currently in rotation.

The train, loot zones, contracts, vehicle, and Ranked format were all listed in Activision’s Season 03 Reloaded announcement.
Two mid-season limited-time modes
- High Trip Resurgence: Used predetermined weapons and collectible Shades that granted boosts.
- Massive Resurgence: Supported 120 operators. Fallen squadmates could redeploy while at least one squadmate remained alive.
Activision named both as mid-season LTMs; the announcement does not establish whether either mode is available now.
What new weapons were in the update?
Ladra SMG
The Ladra was described as a full-auto SMG with a high rate of fire and low recoil, balanced by lower base damage. Activision recommended considering an extended magazine, Scavenger, or an Assault Pack to help manage its ammunition needs.

Goblin Mk2 7.62 Mini-Rocket Conversion
This conversion changed the Goblin Mk2 to fully automatic explosive rocket ammunition, trading away bullet velocity and rate of fire. Both weapon descriptions come from the publisher’s update announcement.
Which event rewards were announced, and are they still available?
Activision listed the High Art, Blaze of Glory, and Call of Duty Endowment Got Your Six events. High Art was announced for May 1–15, 2025, with the Ladra on its free reward track and a premium track listed at 1,100 COD Points. Blaze of Glory offered Vendetta, Frost Blast, and a weapon camo among its rewards.
