Victrix Pro FS Review: Is This Premium Fight Stick Worth It?

The Victrix Pro FS combines Sanwa controls, an aluminum case and thoughtful portability features, but its premium price and missing L3/R3 inputs may not suit every player.

The Victrix Pro FS is a premium wired arcade stick for PS5, PS4 and Windows PC, built around Sanwa controls in an aluminum case. Reviewers praise its comfort, portability and modification access, but at the official US listed price of $399.99 on October 8, 2026, its high cost—and lack of dedicated L3 and R3 buttons—make it a considered purchase rather than an automatic choice for every player.

What the Victrix Pro FS is—and who it suits

The Pro FS is a traditional lever-and-button arcade fight stick, not a wireless controller or a leverless layout. Its built-in mode switch supports PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Windows 10/11 PC, and it connects over a detachable 3 m USB-C cable. That makes it a fit for players who want one wired stick for those platforms and prefer an arcade-style lever.

It is aimed at players willing to pay for its materials, comfort-oriented design and easy access for modifications. If you mainly want an inexpensive way to try a fight stick, or need wireless play or dedicated L3/R3 buttons, its premium design may not answer your priorities.

Controls, construction and included accessories

Sanwa buttons and lever

The control layout has eight 30 mm Sanwa Denshi action buttons and a Sanwa JLF square-gate lever base. The lever shaft detaches using the included Link 2 system. In the box, Victrix lists an additional joystick shaft and ball top, a dust cap, an Allen wrench, a storage bag and an instruction manual. These details describe the supplied components; check the exact listing for the edition being sold.

Aluminum case and comfort features

Victrix specifies an aircraft-grade aluminum shell, an integrated 6.28° wrist slope, a foam lap pad, carrying handles and cable organizers. The design also includes illuminated controls and a tournament-lock button. The materials and features are manufacturer specifications, not independent durability testing.

Portability and modification access

The lever and USB-C cable detach for transport, while the case has a quick-access back panel intended to make modifications easier. Stuff reviewer Alan Wen reported that the stick was easy to carry and straightforward to modify through that panel. If you plan to change buttons or other parts, verify their fit and wiring before buying; compatibility of specific third-party parts is not established here.

How it feels to play

Hands-on reviews are notably positive about the build and comfort. Wen said the Pro FS remained comfortable over long sessions and felt responsive in his review use. Tom’s Guide also praised the aluminum construction, Sanwa controls, comfort and portability. TheSixthAxis reported accurate, responsive control in Street Fighter 6 and other games, and found the wrist rest comfortable. These are individual review impressions, not a guarantee that the shape or wrist angle will suit every player.

GameSpot reported testing the stick across nearly a dozen fighting games, with strong results in several. Its reviewer also found that a fight stick did not provide the second analog stick’s camera control in Street Fighter 6 Battle Hub, and that the setup felt less natural in MultiVersus. Those are game-specific observations about control needs, not compatibility failures.

Compatibility and input limitations

Supported platforms

The current Victrix product page lists PS5, PS4 and Windows 10/11 PC support, selected through the built-in mode switch. This is a wired device; it does not offer wireless play. Its cable is detachable and measures 3 m according to the manufacturer.

No dedicated L3 and R3 buttons

The Pro button can be mapped, but reviewers note that the stick has no dedicated L3 or R3 inputs. TheSixthAxis specifically identifies this as a downside. If a game or mode expects both stick-click inputs alongside the usual arcade controls, check whether its mapping options provide a workable alternative before choosing the Pro FS.

Headset socket placement

TheSixthAxis also found the headset socket awkward to use when playing with the stick on a lap. That is a practical consideration for players who connect a headset directly to the controller and play in that position.

Price and value

Victrix’s US product page listed the Pro FS at $399.99 when checked on October 8, 2026. That is a dated listed price, not a guaranteed transaction price; availability and prices can change, and local pricing may differ.

The price is the clearest reason to hesitate. Tom’s Guide likewise treated the $399 asking price as a major drawback in its review-period coverage. Its comparisons with the Hori Fighting Stick Alpha and Qanba Obsidian 2, and other reviews’ mentions of the Nacon Daija, provide alternatives to investigate—not a current, like-for-like price comparison. Compare models using prices from the same region and date, platform support, lever or leverless layout, stock controls, case and comfort features, portability, and auxiliary inputs.

Whether the premium is justified depends on how much you value the Pro FS’s aluminum construction, Sanwa hardware, comfort features, detachable parts and modification access. The available reviews support a strong assessment of those qualities, but do not establish a market-wide performance ranking or a controlled latency advantage.

Verdict: a compelling premium stick, not a universal king

The Victrix Pro FS makes a strong case for players who want a well-equipped, wired lever stick for PS5, PS4 or Windows PC and are prepared to pay for its materials and thoughtful transport and access features. Multiple reviewers praised its construction and comfort; Stuff’s Alan Wen awarded it 5/5 and called it the best stick he had used. That is a reviewer’s verdict, not an objective ranking of the entire market.

Its high listed US price, wired-only connection, missing dedicated L3/R3 buttons and potentially awkward headset use are real trade-offs. For a player whose priorities match the design, it may be an excellent long-term choice. For everyone else, those limitations—and the cost—deserve as much weight as the praise.
