To put an opponent on the announce table in WWE 2K25, position them beside the desk and press Right Stick up on PlayStation or Xbox. Then climb onto the table and use a compatible finisher when the game allows it. If an opponent leaning against the desk cannot be attacked, remove the table cover and try again.
Put your opponent on the announce table
- Move the opponent to the announce desk at ringside.
- Stand close enough for the table-placement action, then press Right Stick up to lift the opponent onto it. The official WWE 2K25 manual documents this input for PlayStation; a cross-platform controls guide also lists it for Xbox.
- Climb onto the table, then try a compatible finisher. The practical sequence is to get the opponent onto the desk first and perform the finisher from the table when the game permits it.
The finisher may depend on the wrestlers’ positions and the selected wrestler’s moveset. If the expected move does not trigger, follow the on-screen prompt rather than assuming every wrestler can perform the same table-breaking action.

If you cannot attack an opponent leaning on the desk
Remove the announce-table cover and try again. 2K Support has documented a reported issue in which an opponent leaning against the announce table could not be attacked unless its cover had been removed. Treat this as a troubleshooting check, not as the explanation for every failed table interaction.
