In WWE 2K25, the officially documented gameplay way to earn Virtual Currency (VC) is to play The Island: complete quests, challenges, live events, and matches. The Island is available only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and requires an internet connection. You can also buy VC through your console’s marketplace.
Earn VC by playing The Island
2K’s February 12, 2025 announcement says players earn XP and VC by completing quests, challenges, live events, and matches in The Island. It also says each match awards XP, VC, and in-game rewards. The announcement does not give a VC amount per activity or identify a fastest way to earn it.

What Island VC is for
In The Island, VC can be used to raise your MySUPERSTAR’s attributes, unlock badges, and customize appearance. It is therefore useful for progressing and personalizing a MySUPERSTAR, rather than a universal currency for every part of the game.

Buy VC through your console marketplace
2K’s WWE 2K25 VC support guidance also identifies marketplace purchases as an option. Choose the VC listing for the platform you play on. VC from another 2K game cannot be transferred into WWE 2K25. Marketplace prices and availability can change, so check the listing on your console for current details.
Where VC can be spent—and what it is not
2K’s VC guidance says WWE 2K25 VC can be used only in MyFACTION and The Island. MyFACTION has several ways to obtain cards and packs, including its Direct Purchase Marketplace, Token Market, MyFACTION Points, VC, and gameplay rewards. Those are distinct routes and currencies; VC is not interchangeable with MyFACTION Points.
