The base game was followed by five post-launch character packs released in 2024, and the official Season Pass page is the reference for which characters came in each one. There is no official “complete roster” headcount. Counts online depend on whether alternate versions, Persona entries, managers and paid packs are included. Overall ratings are the least settled part of the picture: the only published figures come from secondary launch-era coverage and cover three wrestlers.

- Legends / Alumni
- RAW
- SmackDown
- NXT
- Manager
The page combines current roster names with historical Legends. Names it includes are Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Andre the Giant, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns and Rhea Ripley, among many others. Select entries carry an asterisk, which marks them as part of the Nightmare Family Pack. That pack is included in the Deluxe and Forty Years of WrestleMania editions.
Why there is no single roster number
The official page is a categorised listing of displayed names. It is not a unique-character count, and a count changes depending on four choices:
#1 Best Overall
- PROVE YOURSELF IN MyRISE - Unleash your raw talent and become the undisputed champ in MyRISE, featuring two thrilling career arcs and original storylines chronicling your ascent to WWE stardom from the men's and women’s divisions
- BUILD YOUR FACTION - Assemble your favorite WWE Superstars and Legends in MyFACTION. Acquire cards, build a dominant faction, compete in online multiplayer and the all-new ranked quickplay. Plus, earn exciting promotional and final rank rewards as you climb the new seasonal leaderboard!
- CONTROL THE WWE UNIVERSE - Develop feuds, weekly shows, and more in Universe mode, WWE 2K24’s ultimate sandbox, with expanded rivalry actions, all-new cutscenes, and support for double-title matches!
- CALL THE SHOTS IN MyGM - Oversee the biggest brands and Superstars in sports entertainment as you challenge rival general managers for the top spot in MyGM. Explore more match types, more brands, and new general managers. Trade Superstars between brands, make executive decisions on contracts, and amp up the drama
- Base roster versus DLC. Characters added by the Season Pass packs sit on top of the base listing.
- Alternate versions. The same wrestler can appear more than once in different attires or versions.
- Persona and unlockable entries. A secondary SmackDown Hotel roster reference lists these separately from base entries.
- Managers. They have their own official section, so including or excluding them changes the total.
The 2024 launch announcement by Take-Two Interactive and 2K described “more than 200 WWE Superstars and Legends.” That is a broad marketing description, not a precise count of every playable character after the DLC shipped.
The five DLC character packs
The official Season Pass page names five post-launch packs. The dates below are the 2024 release dates printed on that page. They record when each pack shipped. They do not indicate what is sold or available in 2026.

WCW Pack
The WCW Pack was announced as the fifth and final Season Pass pack. The official WCW Pack report says it adds five Legends, more than 55 new moves and animations, and the WCW Fall Brawl WarGames arena, which supports WarGames and traditional matches. The report states: “The pack includes a total of 5 Legends including DDP, Lex Luger, The Great Muta, and more.” The report also mentions MyFACTION Persona cards. The Wolfpac card series it refers to is a separate card series and is not one of the pack’s characters.
Season Pass and editions
According to the official FAQ, the Season Pass covered all five post-launch character packs, the MyRISE Mega-Boost and the SuperCharger, which unlocks base-game Legends and throwback arenas. The Mega-Boost adds 200 MyRISE Attribute Points. That is an edition bonus, not a roster figure. Packs were also described as available individually at launch.

Overall ratings: what is verified
The official roster and platform pages do not publish a full overall-rating table. The only figures available come from GameSpot’s 2024 launch-era roster gallery, which reports three wrestlers:
