At the Northern Vow Ruins in Qinghe, perform the oath gesture prompted at the statue to activate the wall puzzle. Select 漂 on the left wall, then 百 and 移 on the right. The completed inscriptions should read 山河寸土 on the left and 誓死不易 on the right.
Where to find the wall puzzle
The puzzle is part of the Echoes of Old Battles legacy quest in Qinghe, at the Northern Vow Ruins. The walls become interactive after you learn and perform the oath gesture in front of the statue. Guides use different English names for the gesture—“Northern Oath” and “Yanyun Oath”—so follow the name shown in your game’s prompt if it differs.

How to solve the puzzle
The clue is 山河寸土, 誓死不易. The comma separates the inscription across the two walls: the first phrase belongs on the left, and the second on the right.
- Read the clue and identify the two phrases: 山河寸土 for the left wall and 誓死不易 for the right.
- On the left wall, select 漂.
- On the right wall, select 百 and 移.
- Check that the walls show 山河寸土 on the left and 誓死不易 on the right.
If the puzzle does not activate or a selection is wrong
The walls are not interactive
Return to the statue and perform the oath gesture prompted there. The wall interaction is revealed after this step.

A block is in the wrong position
Pull the incorrectly selected block back out, then make the intended selection. If the inscription looks opposite to the target, check whether a block is pushed in or pulled out before changing other characters.
You need to see the clue again
On PC, press L to redisplay the clue, according to PC Gamer. Controls for other platforms are not established by the cited walkthroughs.
