Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteWarhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2’s official PC targets are 30 fps at 1080p Low for minimum-spec hardware and 60 fps at 1080p Ultra for recommended hardware. Actual results depend on the specific laptop or desktop, resolution, settings and upscaling: for example, a 2024 test of an RTX 4060 laptop measured 45.4 fps at 1440p Ultra native and 68.9 fps with Quality DLSS. Those published benchmarks are useful comparisons, not guarantees for every PC with the same GPU name—and they predate the game’s October 2026 build.
Official PC requirements: what the targets mean
Saber Interactive’s PC requirements page gives two performance targets. They are useful starting points, not promises that every system meeting a listed component will deliver the target in every scene.
| Target | Processor | Memory | Graphics | Settings and frame rate | Other requirements |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum | AMD Ryzen 5 2600X or Intel Core i5-8600K | 8 GB RAM | 6 GB AMD Radeon RX 580 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 | 1080p, Low, 30 fps | Windows 10/11, DirectX 12, SSD and 75 GB available storage |
| Recommended | AMD Ryzen 7 5800X or Intel Core i7-12700 | 16 GB RAM | 8 GB AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT or “GTX 3070” | 1080p, Ultra, 60 fps | Windows 10/11, DirectX 12, SSD and 75 GB available storage |
The source page currently prints “640-bit” in its operating-system line and “GTX 3070” in the recommended GPU line. These appear to be typographical errors, but the requirements page does not clarify them; they are reproduced here as written rather than silently corrected. The 1080p frame-rate figures are Saber’s stated targets, not results from a standardized test described on that page. Saber Interactive’s PC requirements
What the published benchmarks show
The results below come from Notebookcheck’s 2024 review tests. Each result belongs to the named device and its test conditions; mobile and desktop GPUs with similar model numbers are not interchangeable comparisons.

1080p Ultra
| Test system | Average frame rate |
|---|---|
| RTX 4080 desktop, Intel Core i9-13900K | 108.6 fps |
| RTX 4090 Laptop GPU, XMG Neo 16 E23, Intel Core i9-13900HX | 71.8 fps |
| RTX 4060 Laptop GPU, Razer Blade 14, AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS | 64.6 fps |
| RTX 4050 Laptop GPU, Medion Erazer Scout E20, Intel Core i7-13700H | 54.4 fps |
These are averages from the listed device tests, not a guarantee for other PCs carrying the same GPU label. Laptop power limits, cooling and the rest of a system affect results. Notebookcheck’s 2024 benchmark review
1440p and 4K: resolution changes the answer
Notebookcheck’s Ultra results make the effect of resolution clear. “Native” means the game renders at the stated output resolution without DLSS upscaling; the DLSS figures below use the Quality mode.

| 4K Ultra, Quality DLSS | not stated (Notebookcheck) | not stated (Notebookcheck) | 38.9 fps | 34.9 fps |
The DLSS results are observations from those two particular laptop tests, not a promised uplift on another machine. Results vary by system, configuration and scene.
Desktop GPU results and CPU limits
TechSpot’s 2024 desktop GPU analysis used a Ryzen 7 7800X3D test system. In that setup, an RTX 4060 Ti or RX 7700 XT delivered about 90 fps or more at native 1080p Ultra, while the RTX 4060 Ti delivered roughly 60 fps or better at native 1440p Ultra. These are approximate outcomes from TechSpot’s particular test configuration, not universal card rankings or a forecast for every CPU and game build. TechSpot’s 2024 GPU benchmark

TechSpot also found high-end cards becoming CPU-limited around 1080p Ultra on that Ryzen 7 7800X3D setup. At lower resolutions, a fast GPU may spend less time fully loaded because the CPU or game workload limits frame delivery. Raising resolution increases GPU work and can reduce that CPU bottleneck, though it may lower the frame rate overall. This is why a GPU-only comparison—or a desktop result applied directly to a laptop—can mislead.
How to judge your own PC
- Check the exact hardware. Identify the full laptop or desktop model, CPU, GPU, RAM and whether the graphics chip is a laptop GPU. A model name alone does not reveal the laptop’s power limit or cooling.
- Match the display resolution and target. Compare 1080p results with a 1080p goal, and 1440p or 4K results with the resolution you intend to play. Do not treat an Ultra result as equivalent to Low or Medium.
- Account for upscaling. Keep native results separate from DLSS Quality results. If you plan to use DLSS, compare against a benchmark with the same mode where available.
- Use the closest system as an estimate, not a guarantee. Prioritize benchmarks listing the device, CPU, preset, resolution and upscaling mode. Average frame rate does not describe every dip or moment-to-moment variation; the cited tables do not provide low-percentile data for all these comparisons.
- Leave room for build and scene differences. Treat older measurements as evidence about those tests, not as validation of the current game build or every mission.
Benchmark age and game updates
The Notebookcheck and TechSpot results above were published in 2024, around the game’s launch period. The game has since changed: Patch 13.0, dated May 21, 2026, lists “Minor performance improvements,” memory optimisations, loading-time improvements, stability work and crash fixes. Patch 14.0, dated July 28, 2026, also lists minor performance and loading-time improvements, memory optimisations, stability work and crash fixes. Hotfix 15.1, dated October 8, 2026, lists general stability and crash fixes. The notes establish that the game has evolved, but do not quantify how much performance changed on particular GPUs; these 2024 results are not current-build benchmark measurements.
