No. The Hierophant Bio-Titan was associated with Space Marine 2’s Termination Operation in October 2024, before the game’s second year began. Year 2 started in September 2025 and its final major update arrived in July 2026; Focus Entertainment’s Year 2 announcements did not promise a new Hierophant encounter.
Why “Season 2” is confusing
Focus Entertainment described the game’s post-launch content cycle as its “second year” or “Year 2.” “Season Pass II” is a separate name: it refers to cosmetic DLC, not a story season or a new Bio-Titan mission. The publisher said the pass launched alongside the September 2025 Anniversary Update and that its final DLCs arrived with the Year 2 finale. Focus’s Year Two roadmap and its Anniversary Update announcement make that distinction useful when interpreting the old headline.
What actually happened to the Hierophant Bio-Titan?
The available source associates the Hierophant Bio-Titan with the Termination PvE Operation, whose trailer was published on 17 October 2024—before Year 2. The source is an IGN trailer search-result excerpt, rather than a primary update announcement, so the supported takeaway is limited: the Bio-Titan belongs to the earlier Termination content, and no additional encounter mechanics are established here. What Year 2 added instead
The September 2025 kickoff
The Year 2 roadmap, published on 28 August 2025, said the cycle would begin on 4 September with Patch 10 and outlined six planned major updates. Focus’s kickoff announcement confirmed the Anniversary Update was free for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC players and launched Season Pass II. Its listed gameplay additions included a Vortex Operation with a Mutalith Vortex Beast boss, the Stratagems PvE mode, Helbrute Onslaught PvP mode, three weapons, and a Chaos Spawn enemy. The kickoff announcement named the Mutalith Vortex Beast—not a Hierophant—as the new Operation boss. Focus’s Anniversary Update announcement

The roadmap and its final status
The roadmap planned four new Operations and one Siege map, three Eternal War arenas, the Stratagems and Helbrute Onslaught modes, a Techmarine class, weapons and variants, new enemies and bosses, and progression mechanics. These were roadmap plans; the later finale announcement is the better guide to what Focus said marked the end of the second year.
On 28 July 2026, Focus described Patch 14, the Confrontation Update, as the final major update of Year 2. It brought two PvP arenas, the Thousand Sons’ Scarab Occult Terminator Sorcerer, six Heroic weapon variants, three Heroic armour pieces, and the last Season Pass 2 DLCs. The update was free for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC players. Focus’s Confrontation Update announcement

When did the Hierophant appear in Space Marine 2?
The available evidence places the Hierophant Bio-Titan in the Termination Operation, announced through a trailer in October 2024. That predates Year 2, which began in September 2025. So the old future-tense claim that Season 2 would pit players against the Bio-Titan is not an accurate description of the Year 2 content announcements.
