What the 35-minute gameplay video shows
The video, labeled “Cronos: The New Dawn | 35-minute Gameplay,” presents excerpts from the build that selected journalists and influencers played at preview events. Bloober Team described it as “a 35-minute B-roll compilation from that build,” showing the core gameplay as it was presented at those events. The studio’s recap identifies combat, exploration and the game world among the session’s highlights; it does not describe the video as the full two-hour build.

Bloober Team’s July 29, 2025 event recap provides the footage’s context. The Outerhaven’s August 3, 2025 article by Keith Mitchell embeds the video and describes the publication’s own experience watching it; that first-person framing is the author’s, not a report from someone attending the preview events.
Where the preview events took place
Bloober Team held hands-on events in Nowa Huta, Poland, and Oakland, California. The Nowa Huta event took place July 10–11, 2025, inside the Sendzimir Steelworks. The studio says the steelworks inspired parts of the game’s world, and identifies 1980s Poland as an influence on its setting, design and tone. That background helps explain the industrial atmosphere visible in the footage without making the compilation a complete account of the game.

Bloober Team describes Cronos: The New Dawn as a survival horror game. The Outerhaven characterizes it as third-person survival horror combining action with psychological horror. The 35-minute compilation is a preview of selected gameplay, rather than a substitute for playing the full release.
Release date, platforms and announced editions
Cronos: The New Dawn launched worldwide on September 5, 2025. Bloober Team’s July 31, 2025 announcement listed PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. The prices and edition details below are those announced in July 2025; they are not confirmation of current prices, stock or storefront terms.
