On console, you can restrict crossplay in Warzone Ranked via Options > Settings > Account & Network. Activision documents three choices: On, On (Console Only) and Off. The setting applies to the Ranked matchmaking pool; it is not a universal switch for every Warzone mode.
How to change Warzone Ranked crossplay on console

Open Warzone and enter Options.

Select Settings, then Account & Network.

Find Ranked Crossplay and choose On, On (Console Only) or Off.
This menu path and its options are documented in Activision’s support article, dated April 3, 2025: Crossplay and Cross-Progression in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone. The page is titled for Black Ops 6 and Warzone; check the in-game menu if a later update changes the labels or location. Activision also notes that Xbox console-level settings take priority over in-game settings.
What each crossplay option does

These definitions and warnings appear in Activision’s Warzone Season 03 patch notes, dated April 11, 2025. The warnings are qualitative: Activision does not give a queue-time estimate or guarantee a particular match composition beyond the stated platform restrictions.

What happens when your party uses different platforms
A mixed-platform party can temporarily change the preferred crossplay setting so the group can matchmake. If party members use the same console platform, the party leader’s preferred crossplay setting applies. If players use different console platforms and someone has selected Off, the setting is temporarily adjusted to On (Console Only). If the party includes a PC player, it can temporarily move to On. After the party disbands, the player’s preferred setting is restored. Activision describes this behavior in the Season 03 notes.

No. The documented setting is for Warzone Ranked. Activision separates it from Multiplayer Ranked and Multiplayer Unranked crossplay controls, so changing Ranked Crossplay should not be treated as a setting for every mode. The Season 03 notes say the controls were separated to give console players more granular options. They date that change to Season 03 in 2025; the documentation does not establish a newly introduced switch in October 2026.

Windows Central’s January 29, 2025 console guide also described the change as following player feedback. That is secondary context; Activision’s support page and patch notes define the options and their behavior.
