Dragon Age: The Veilguard has three classes—Warrior, Rogue, and Mage—and the official game descriptions say each class has two distinct weapon types. The official summaries cited here do not name those types, so this overview explains what is confirmed without guessing at weapon names, stats, or locations.
Which classes can Rook choose?
EA presents three class choices for Rook: Warrior, Rogue, and Mage. The game’s official descriptions on Steam and PlayStation say that each class has two distinct weapon types.

What does “two weapon types” tell you?
It confirms that each class has a pair of distinct weapon categories to choose between or use. It does not, on its own, explain how a particular weapon behaves, whether both are available at every point in the game, or how they compare in a build. Those details require an item-specific, current game reference; the official summaries linked above do not supply them.

Are Deluxe Edition weapon sets functional weapons?
No. EA describes the Deluxe Edition’s class and companion weapon and armor sets as cosmetic. Treat those sets as appearance content, not stat upgrades or evidence of additional functional weapon types.

EA’s 2024 launch announcement described Rook’s Coffer as a physical collector product containing keepsakes, including a light-up Lyrium Dagger. That announcement establishes the dagger as merchandise, not as an in-game weapon or an entry in the playable weapon catalogue. It also does not establish whether the product is currently available.
