Sony made all three available to PlayStation Plus members from Tuesday, August 4 through Monday, August 31, 2026. The August window has closed, so these titles are no longer claimable through that offer.
“Free” in this context means included with a PlayStation Plus membership, not free to everyone. Sony’s Monthly Games are a separate offering from the Game Catalog that Sony announced for Extra and Premium members on August 12, and the two lists should not be read as one.

The three August 2026 Monthly Games
Sony’s announcement named three titles. The table below lists each one with its platforms and Sony’s own description, which is the publisher’s framing rather than an independent review.
| Title | Platforms | What Sony says it is |
|---|---|---|
| Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition | PS5, PS4 | A post-apocalyptic action-adventure with factions, infected enemies, player choices, and up to four-player co-op. |
| Big Walk | PS5 | A cooperative multiplayer adventure built around teamwork, talking, exploration, and puzzles. |
| Signalis | PS4 | A psychological survival-horror game about Elster, a technician searching for her partner in a surreal, retro-tech setting. |
Note the platform labels when you check your console. Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition is the only one of the three listed for both PS5 and PS4, Big Walk is listed for PS5 only, and Signalis for PS4 only.

Availability window
Sony set the window as Tuesday, August 4 through Monday, August 31, 2026. In its announcement, Adam Michel, Senior Director, Content Acquisition & Operations at Sony Interactive Entertainment, wrote: “Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, Big Walk and Signalis will all be available to PlayStation Plus members from Tuesday August 4 until Monday August 31.”
Sony also says Monthly Games lineups can differ by region. If you are checking an August offer in another country, look at the Monthly Games section of your own PlayStation Store rather than relying on a list published for a different market.
