In Hypixel SkyBlock, a complete Old Dragon Armor set adds 450 Health and 500 Defense. Its Old Blood full-set bonus strengthens five specific enchantments while you wear all four pieces: Growth, Protection, Feather Falling, Sugar Rush, and True Protection.
How the Old Blood set bonus works
Old Dragon Armor is a four-piece set—helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots. Its listed full-set stats are +450 Health and +500 Defense. Old Blood improves the effects of certain enchantments on the armor; the listed increase depends on the enchantment and its level.
| Enchantment | Old Blood increase | Practical effect |
|---|---|---|
| Growth | +10 Health per level | More Health |
| Protection | +2 Defense per level | More Defense |
| Feather Falling | +3% fall-damage reduction per level | Less damage from falls |
| Sugar Rush | +1 Speed per level | More Speed |
| True Protection | +3 True Defense per level | More True Defense |
These figures are the bonus listed for the set, not a separate active skill: Old Dragon Armor is armor, and Old Blood works by improving the named enchantments while the full set is worn. Its emphasis is survivability, with added Health and Defense plus enchantment bonuses that can improve durability, movement, or fall protection.
Requirements and how to get the set
The Hypixel SkyBlock Wiki lists Combat XVI (Combat 16) to use Old Dragon Armor and Catacombs 10 if using it as a dungeon item. It lists a crafting cost of 240 Old Dragon Fragments for the full set. The CraftersMC Wiki also describes the set as craftable from fragments and obtainable from Old Dragon drops; consult the live game for current drop details.

Is it a good tank set?
Old Dragon Armor suits players looking for Health and Defense, especially if the set’s enchantment bonuses match their build. A community-wiki comparison describes Holy Dragon Armor as a similar tank option: Old Dragon is described as having slightly better Health and Defense due to its set bonus, while Holy offers additional Health Regeneration. That comparison does not establish a universal or current best choice, so weigh the stats and effects relevant to your build.
