The best-supported 7× skill multiplier examples in Forza Horizon 5 are the 1986 Hoonigan Ford RS200 Evolution, Formula Drift cars (including the 1995 Formula Drift #34 Toyota Supra MIIG), and the regular Hoonigan Hoonicorn Mustang. How to check a car’s multiplier cap
Skill multiplier caps are tied to a car’s own Car Mastery tree. A car’s model name alone does not guarantee that its higher cap is active: inspect its available mastery perks and unlock the relevant one. For the RS200, the phrase “Stay on Target” and the description that the multiplier can go up to 7 are reproduced by a player in a community discussion. That is a player-reported in-game label and description, not an attributable official statement.

Does a 7× car earn Skill Points faster?
Not necessarily. The cap is only one part of a skill chain: how quickly a car builds skills, how long you can sustain the chain, and how it handles in your chosen activity also affect the result. Community players caution that some 5× cars can outscore 7× cars in practice. Choose a car you can control reliably and keep a chain going with, rather than treating the highest multiplier as proof it is the best farmer.

How to choose between the reported 7× options
- Check the cap and perk first: look at the specific car’s Car Mastery tree and unlock the perk that raises its cap, if available.
- Match the car to your activity: consider handling and how consistently it lets you build and maintain a skill chain.
- Use what you already own: an available car with a lower cap may be more practical than pursuing a reported 7× option that does not suit your driving.
- Keep variants distinct: the regular Hoonicorn is reported at 7×, while the 1965 Gymkhana 10 Hoonicorn Mustang V2 is reported at 8×.
