The Extra Content Shop All Access Voucher is downloadable content for Resident Evil Village that unlocks every reward in the game’s Extra Content Shop in one purchase. It does not change anything you have already unlocked, and it does not work on its own: you need the base game, and the exact edition depends on your platform and region.
What the voucher unlocks
According to the publisher-provided product description on Nintendo’s official DLC listing, the voucher “unlocks all rewards in the Extra Content Shop” and “will have no effect on any rewards you have already unlocked.” The Xbox and PlayStation listings describe the same function. In practice, the voucher is a bulk unlock: instead of buying each shop reward separately, you buy one item and the shop’s full catalogue becomes available to you.
Two limits follow directly from that wording:
- Existing rewards stay as they are. Anything you have already unlocked is not reset, re-charged, or duplicated.
- It is an add-on, not a standalone game. The Xbox listing states that a game is required and sold separately, and it lists Resident Evil Village as the compatible title.
Which version you need depends on where you buy
Store listings differ by platform and region, so the voucher you see on one storefront is not automatically the one you need on another. The table below shows what each official listing reviewed for this article states.
| Storefront and listing | Platforms named | Base game requirement stated |
|---|---|---|
| Xbox, Extra Content Shop All Access Voucher | Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC | Requires Resident Evil Village, sold separately |
| PlayStation Store (US), Extra Content Shop All Access Voucher PS4 & PS5 | PS4, PS5 | Platform support listed; product description matches the Xbox and Nintendo wording |
| Nintendo, DLC page (ZA) | Nintendo Switch 2 | Requires Resident Evil Village Gold Edition |
| Nintendo eShop (Australia), Resident Evil Village Cloud listing | Cloud offering | Cloud game required, plus a stable internet connection |
The practical takeaway is that a voucher bought for one platform or storefront should not be assumed to work on another. A Switch 2 buyer, for example, should confirm that Resident Evil Village Gold Edition is the version they own, because the listing names that edition rather than the base game.

How to check before you buy
- Open the voucher’s listing on the storefront you actually use (Xbox Store, PlayStation Store, Nintendo eShop, or your regional equivalent).
- Read the compatibility or “required game” section and confirm your platform appears in it.
- Check whether the listing names a specific edition, such as Gold Edition, and compare that with the version in your library.
- If you use a cloud offering, confirm the listing’s connection requirement before purchase.
Listings can be updated, and regional storefronts sometimes list different editions for the same game, so the storefront page is the authority for your region.
Whether you must finish the game first
Official listings do not say whether the voucher can be used immediately after purchase or only after completing the main game. Player forum threads ask this question, but user posts are not an official answer. Until the publisher states otherwise, treat the availability of shop rewards after purchase as something to confirm on your own account rather than something the listing guarantees.

Purchase and value
The official listings reviewed do not publish a price comparison, a sales figure, or a claim about how much the bundled rewards are worth compared with buying them one by one. If you want to judge value, compare the voucher’s price on your own storefront with the individual shop rewards you actually plan to use, and remember that anything you have already unlocked will not be counted again.
