A seven-day Roblox suspension is a timed restriction. When the period in the moderation notice ends, the restriction is meant to lift. Roblox’s help pages do not promise an exact moment when access returns, and they do not say the moderation history is erased. Before anything else, confirm whether the notice is an account-level action from Roblox or a ban from a single experience, because the two work differently.
Check which kind of ban you received
The notice or error message tells you who issued the action and what it blocks. Roblox’s guidance separates three situations:
| Type | Issued by | What it restricts | Where to appeal |
|---|---|---|---|
| Account moderation (for example, a seven-day account suspension) | Roblox | Account access or a Roblox service, for the period in the notice | Violations & Appeals or the Support form, as shown in the notification |
| Experience ban (Error Code 600: Banned from an Experience) | The experience’s creator | Access to that one experience; Roblox says other experiences and platform features remain available | The creator. Roblox Support cannot remove the creator’s ban |
| Custom experience rules enforcement | The experience’s creator, under its own rule system | Access to that experience | The creator. Roblox does not handle appeals of custom-rule violations, though it may review an experience whose rules or enforcement appear to break Roblox policies |
If your notice is an experience ban, a seven-day period does not by itself mean your whole account is limited. Roblox’s experience-ban page describes Error Code 600 as a creator action affecting that experience only. Roblox’s custom-rules page also says a creator-issued ban that lasts more than 14 days automatically cancels that experience’s subscription without a refund. A seven-day creator ban is below that threshold, but the 14-day figure applies only to experience subscriptions and should not be applied to account bans or other purchases.
What happens when the seven days end
The length of an action is set by the notice. Roblox’s Content Moderation guidance says the duration of its decision, and how it decides on action for content violations, varies. Roblox considers the severity and impact of the violation, the specific violation, and the user’s prior behavior. Action can range from warnings and content removal to account-level restrictions, and repeated violations can bring larger consequences.

In practical terms, a temporary suspension is expected to end once the period shown in the notice has passed. Roblox does not publish the exact time restoration takes, and it does not guarantee that every feature returns at the same moment. If the account is still locked after the stated end time, contact Roblox Support and include your account username and the details from the moderation notice.
A seven-day suspension is not permanent deletion
Roblox’s Terms of Use distinguish account suspension from termination. A timed suspension is therefore not the same as losing the account. Roblox’s guidance also makes clear that a completed suspension does not promise leniency later: a future violation may receive the same action or a longer one.

How to appeal an account moderation action
Roblox says an appeal gives its team another review of the moderation, but submitting an appeal does not guarantee the consequence will be removed. Use the following steps:
- Open the moderation notification and find the appeal route it lists. Eligible cases use Violations & Appeals; other cases use the Support form.
- Confirm that you are the account owner. Only the account owner may appeal, and the appeal should come from a valid email address on the account.
- Submit within 30 days of the moderation action. Roblox’s appeal page gives users in the EU six months to appeal an initial moderation action. Regional rights and the specific notice may affect the process.
- If you use the Support form, provide your account username and a brief statement explaining why you are appealing.
- Do not file a duplicate appeal. An action that has already been reviewed will not be reviewed again through a second appeal.
Roblox does not publish a separate appeal window for experience-level bans, because those are handled by the creator rather than Roblox’s appeal system.

What to do about a creator-issued experience ban
Contact the experience’s creator through the methods listed on the experience or the creator’s profile. Roblox directs users to the creator for custom-rule bans and says it does not handle those appeals. Roblox Support can still be useful if you believe the experience’s rules or enforcement breach Roblox’s policies, but it cannot lift the creator’s ban directly.

- No universal penalty ladder. Roblox does not publish a fixed sequence of penalties, so there is no official way to predict what follows a seven-day suspension.
- No stated record reset. Roblox says prior behavior can inform enforcement, but its pages do not give a set period after which moderation history is cleared.
- No single method of detection. Roblox says moderation can be manual, automated, or a combination of both.
Treat any claim of a fixed reset date or automatic escalation as unofficial unless it appears in Roblox’s own help pages.
