EuiNorth’s GameFAQs walkthrough, version 1.0 updated March 28, 2021, describes Misty giving V Omega blockers after V returns home. Misty says they will keep V’s “guest” quiet. During the confrontation, Johnny knocks the pills out of V’s hand, but the walkthrough says V crawls over, retrieves them, and takes them. Johnny leaves, and V wakes up in the shower.
The walkthrough is a secondary account, not an official statement or a test of the current game version. A Cyberpunk Wiki search-result summary also describes the blockers as slowing the Relic process, but the page was not accessible to verify that detail. The clearest supported description of the scene is that the pills are meant to suppress or quiet Johnny.
Does taking them affect quests or endings?
The available account of the early apartment scene does not show a permanent quest or ending lockout, and the sources reviewed do not independently verify one. How is this different from the rooftop pill choice?
The later pill prompt occurs during Nocturne OP55N1, near the end of the game, when V considers a plan on the rooftop. It is a distinct decision from the medication scene in V’s apartment during Playing for Time. A Game8 search-result summary associates taking Omega blockers with confirming a plan in the rooftop scene, but its page was not accessible, so the exact consequences of that late-game choice are not verified here.
Do not assume the two prompts have the same branching effect: one is part of the early story sequence, while the other is a separate late-game decision. The available sources do not establish a complete set of outcomes for the rooftop choice.
