The protagonist’s default personal name in the Global release of Persona 5: The Phantom X is reported as Nagisa Kamisiro; Nagisa Kamishiro is the familiar Japanese spelling. His Phantom Thief codename is Wonder. Players can choose a different name, so Nagisa is the default commonly associated with him—not a required name for every player.
Wonder is his codename, not his personal name
The official English character profile identifies the game’s protagonist as Wonder, and the official Japanese profile uses WONDER. Those profiles establish his Phantom Thief identity, but their surfaced text does not provide a personal name.

Why you may see two spellings
Game8’s protagonist naming guide reports Nagisa Kamisiro as the Global release’s default name and notes that players can choose another. The guide’s heading uses Nagisa Kamishiro, the familiar Japanese romanization. The spellings reflect the distinction between the Global default reported by the guide and the Japanese form; the official character profiles cited above do not confirm a personal name.

Wonder is The Phantom X’s protagonist, separate from Joker, the protagonist of Persona 5. SEGA’s announcement describes P5X as a new story and identifies Joker as the Persona 5 protagonist. Ren Amamiya is associated with Joker in Persona 5; that is not Wonder’s name.
