There is no single best Hypixel SkyBlock minion for making money that holds for every player. Income depends on the minion’s tier, its upgrades and fuel, how many slots you run, how often you collect, whether you stay active on your island, and whether you sell to NPCs or on the Bazaar, all measured against prices that move. Rabbit minions are a credible candidate in recent community guides, but no source establishes them as the top earner for everyone. The useful question is which setup wins for your budget and habits, and that requires comparing candidates on identical assumptions.
Why one answer does not hold
A minion produces items, and those items only become coins when you sell them. Each variable below can reverse a ranking between two setups:
- Tier and upgrades: a higher-tier minion produces more per cycle but costs more to obtain and run.
- Fuel: fuel boosts output for a limited time and is an ongoing cost.
- Slot count: more slots multiply output, and they also multiply the cost of any mistake.
- Collection interval: how often you collect determines whether output sits in storage and whether it compacts or goes to waste.
- Activity: community guides assume different levels of online play, so an offline estimate and an active-island estimate are not interchangeable.
- Sale route: NPC prices and Bazaar prices produce different proceeds from the same items.
- Market prices: Bazaar prices change with supply and demand, so an older figure can be badly out of date.
The published figures and what they measure
The numbers circulating for minion income come from player-written guides and forum posts. None is an official rate, and none is a live measurement. The table lists each figure with the conditions its author attached to it.

The last two rows illustrate a common mistake. Dividing 9 million coins across 24 minions gives roughly 375,000 per minion per day, which is below the 450,000 single-minion claim in the same thread. The post ties the two figures to different assumptions, so the gap is not a simple error to correct. It is a reason not to combine a group total with a single-unit figure when comparing setups.

The Hypixel SkyBlock Wiki’s coins page also states that a player can earn at most 500 million coins per day from selling items to NPCs. That is a game-wide limit on NPC sales, not a minion earning rate.
Rabbit minions: a candidate, not a proven winner
Rabbit minions are a real minion type, and they appear in recent community recommendations. The 450,000-coin figure and the 9-million-coin group figure above both come from a single September 2025 forum post. That post was edited, and its follow-up discussion disputes parts of the setup. Treat it as a hypothesis to test against your own inputs.

The Hypixel SkyBlock Wiki’s Rabbit Minion page displays price data dated April 20, 2026. That is useful for item and recipe reference, but it does not reflect October 2026 Bazaar prices, so do not use it as a current income figure.
How to compare setups on equal terms
- Set a budget. Add the minion, its upgrades, fuel, and any crafted components. This is your setup cost.
- Fix the slot count and collection interval. Use the same numbers for every candidate. A rabbit setup with eight slots collected daily is not comparable to a wheat setup with twenty slots collected weekly.
- Choose an activity assumption. Decide whether the income figure assumes you are online on your island or offline for long stretches, and apply that to every candidate.
- Choose one sale route. Price each output at the NPC price or at the current Bazaar price, depending on how you will actually sell.
- Calculate net proceeds per day. Use this formula: (units produced per day × sale price) − fuel and other ongoing costs per day.
- Calculate payback. Use this formula: setup cost ÷ net proceeds per day.
- Stress-test the result. Lower the sale price by a meaningful margin and see whether the ranking changes.
Illustrative arithmetic only, using hypothetical inputs rather than a measured setup: a 10-million-coin setup netting 500,000 coins per day pays back in 20 days. Change the net figure to 400,000 and payback becomes 25 days. The ranking of two candidates can flip on a change of that size, which is why the same inputs must be used for both.

NPC sales versus the Bazaar
- NPC sales use fixed prices set by the game rather than by other players. Proceeds are predictable from one day to the next, but they do not respond to market conditions.
- Bazaar sales track player supply and demand. They can pay more than NPCs for some items and less for others, and they can move quickly. Apply any Bazaar fees that your sale method incurs.
- Calculators that support both routes are useful for side-by-side comparison. Enter only the route you will use, and record the price date alongside the output.
Errors that make a comparison misleading
- Using a January 2025 price with today’s Bazaar prices.
- Comparing a 24-minion total with a single-minion figure.
- Leaving out fuel or ongoing costs, which reduces net proceeds on every day you run the setup.
- Assuming offline income equals active-island income.
- Ignoring storage. Letting output sit until it compacts or the storage fills can reduce what you collect. Forum sources disagree on the exact compaction and storage behavior, so check it in game before you rely on a figure.
- Trusting a calculator’s output without checking its inputs. Calculator authors caution that results are not guaranteed to be free of errors.
Other setups named in recent guides
A 2025 guide also proposes the Soulflow Engine as a money-making option. Its income claim is community-authored and has not been independently verified, so use it only as a candidate to test with the same method as the others.
Wheat, slime, sheep, and rabbit setups are all examples. None is a guaranteed recommendation, and each should be recalculated with your own slot count, collection schedule, and current prices before you commit coins to it.
