Roblox documents Error Code 267 and Error Code 600 as “Banned from an Experience.” Both refer to a ban issued by the creator of a particular experience—not necessarily a ban from Roblox itself.
What do Roblox Error Codes 267 and 600 mean?
Roblox’s support pages describe both codes as an experience-specific ban issued by that experience’s creator for a Community Standards violation within the experience. Roblox’s error index lists both 267 and 600 under “Banned from an Experience.” The documentation does not explain why there are two codes or whether every platform or version displays the same one. The official pages give the two codes the same core meaning and recommended next step; they do not give a reason for maintaining both entries.
Is this a Roblox account ban?
Not necessarily. Roblox says the ban in these error messages is issued by an experience creator and is limited to that experience. The player can still access other experiences and Roblox platform features. Roblox Support says it cannot remove a ban issued directly by an experience creator or contact that creator on the player’s behalf.

How to respond to an experience ban
- Check which experience showed the message. Confirm the error code and the name of the experience where it appeared.
- Contact the experience creator. Roblox suggests using Roblox messaging or chat, the creator’s community wall if available, or social links on the creator’s profile, community, or experience details page.
- Make a concise, polite request. Include your Roblox username, the experience name, the displayed code, and relevant context so the creator can understand what happened. These details are practical suggestions, not additional requirements stated by Roblox.
Roblox Support cannot reverse this kind of creator-issued ban or reach out to the creator for you, as explained in its Error Code 267 guidance.
What if Roblox says the account itself was moderated?
An account-level moderation notice is different from an experience-specific ban. If the notice says your Roblox account was moderated, follow the appeal instructions included with that notice. The experience-ban guidance above does not describe the account-level appeal process, so contacting an experience creator is not the route for disputing platform moderation.

Don’t mistake other Roblox errors for a ban
Not every access or connection error means you have been banned. Roblox lists several distinct errors, including:
- Error 403: Roblox describes this as a PC client application initialization failure, not an experience-ban designation. Its support article covers software, cache, network, and browser troubleshooting.
- Error 268: Listed as unexpected client behavior.
- Error 524: Listed as no permission to join an experience.
Check the exact code and message against Roblox’s error code index before concluding that an error means a ban.
