CarX Street has no single “full size.” The number depends on the platform and on what is being measured. On PC, CarX Technologies requires 20 GB of free disk space, while SteamDB’s current Windows English depot data shows a 17.40 GiB download and 21.13 GiB installed on disk. On iOS, the US App Store listing shows 1.5 GB. The official Google Play developer listing does not show an app size, so the total Android footprint after in-game downloads cannot be confirmed from official sources.
Storage figures by platform
Each published figure measures something different. The table lists them side by side so you can see which one applies to your device.
| Platform | Published figure | What it measures | Source and scope |
|---|---|---|---|
| PC | 20 GB of free disk space | Official required free space; an SSD is also listed in the requirements | CarX Technologies official PC requirements page; Steam’s CarX Street system requirements also list 20 GB of available space (2026 listings) |
| PC | 17.40 GiB download | Size of the download for the Windows English, no-DLC depot | SteamDB depot data; public branch updated September 9, 2026 |
| PC | 21.13 GiB on disk | Installed size of the same Windows English, no-DLC depot | SteamDB depot data; public branch updated September 9, 2026 |
| iOS | 1.5 GB | App size as shown on the store listing; the listing requires iOS 13.0 or later | Apple US App Store listing (US storefront, 2026) |
| Android | Not stated | The Google Play developer listing shows no app size. A 2.05 GB APK bundle for version 1.21.0 is listed by APKMirror, but that is package size only | Google Play developer listing (no size shown); APKMirror listing uploaded August 7, 2026 |
What each figure means
PC: a requirement, a download and an installed size
The 20 GB figure is the free space CarX Technologies asks you to have available. It is a requirement, not a promise that every installation will occupy exactly that amount. The SteamDB numbers are tracker measurements of one depot, and they are not the developer’s published system requirement.
The two units also cause confusion. GiB (gibibytes) are based on 1,024-byte steps, while GB in storefront listings is usually decimal. Converted roughly, SteamDB’s 17.40 GiB download is about 18.7 GB and its 21.13 GiB installed size is about 22.7 GB. That means the installed footprint in the tracker data is larger than the 20 GB free-space requirement once units are matched.

iOS: an app-size listing
The 1.5 GB figure is the size Apple shows on the US App Store listing. It describes the app package at the time of listing. It does not cover data that grows after launch, such as later content updates or saved game data, so treat it as a starting estimate rather than a final total.
Android: no verified total
The official Google Play developer listing confirms the game’s title and availability but shows no size. The APKMirror figure of 2.05 GB applies to the APK bundle for version 1.21.0, which was uploaded on August 7, 2026. An APK is the installation package. It does not include resources the game downloads after installation, so it cannot be read as the full installed size.

Which number to plan around
- PC: Keep at least 20 GB of free space, and allow more than that. The tracker’s installed size is about 22.7 GB in decimal units, so 20 GB is the minimum stated, not a comfortable margin.
- iOS: Plan around the 1.5 GB listing, then check available storage after the first launch to see how much the game has added.
- Android: Check free storage before installing, then check again after the first session, because the post-install total is not established by official listings.
Device requirements that affect storage
CarX Street’s official channel states: “CarX Street is supported by Android devices with MORE THAN 4GB of RAM and all iOS 13.0 or later compatible devices.” This is a device compatibility statement, not a storage figure. It attributes the requirement to the official CarX Street channel, not to a named individual, and it does not say whether a device with exactly 4 GB of RAM is excluded.
If your question is only about the Steam download, the SteamDB download figure is the closest published measure. If you are deciding whether a phone has room, the App Store listing is the only official platform size that is currently stated.
