Prodigy Education’s own materials describe pet roles and elemental battle mechanics, but they do not publish a complete, current comparison of every pet’s stats and moves. Which pet is “strongest” depends on the opponent, the battle, and how the pet fits your team. Any single pet named as the best ever is a player’s opinion, not a game fact.
Why a single strongest pet can’t be named
A pet that wins one fight can lose the next. Prodigy’s battle instructions tell players to exploit elemental weaknesses, so a pet’s value is largely relative to the enemy it faces. A pet that hits hard against one element may be a poor pick against another. Ranking pets in isolation therefore produces a list that only holds for one matchup.
The official sources also don’t offer a complete data set to rank against. Prodigy’s overview calls Mythical Epics powerful and describes them as membership questline pets, but it does not say any one of them is stronger than every other pet. No official source supplies a full, current table of pet stats and moves that would let anyone settle the question.
What “strongest” should mean in a battle
Before comparing pets, decide which job you need done. Pets generally fill different roles, and a fan-maintained pet reference describes them as follows:

- High-defense sturdy pets that take hits well and hold a position.
- Strikers with a higher chance of landing critical attacks.
That reference is a secondary source, not an official tier list, so check its details against the live game before relying on them. It also says evolution changes a pet’s stats and appearance. Compare pets at the same level and evolution stage. A fully evolved pet and a freshly hatched one of the same species are not a fair comparison.
How to compare pets for your own team
Work through these questions in order. Each one narrows the field more than the last.

- Matchup: Can this pet, or a pet on your team, exploit the weakness of the enemy you’re facing? Element advantage is the first filter in Prodigy’s battle system.
- Role: Do you need damage, critical attacks, survivability, healing, or coverage of more than one enemy? Choose the role your team lacks.
- Moves and effects: Read what each pet’s moves actually do. A move that benefits the whole team can be worth more than a higher raw number on one pet.
- Progression: Compare pets at matching levels and evolution stages.
- Game version and mode: Confirm the current rules before trusting an older ranking, because the combat system has changed (see below).
What the official battle guide changed
Prodigy Education’s Battle Remake Player Guide documents a major change to combat numbers. The guide states: “We decided to scale back Health Points and Damage dealt by a factor of ten to help our younger players better understand how powerful their team and their spells are.” The guide does not identify an individual author or a publication year, so attribute the sentence to the guide itself.
The guide’s examples show the scale of the change. A wizard previously at 6,000 HP would have about 600 HP afterward, and a 1,000-damage attack would deal 100 damage. These are the guide’s illustrative values, not a pet ranking. The practical lesson is that rankings written before the change describe a different combat scale, and their numbers may not carry over to current battles.

What players are saying, and how much weight it deserves
Community opinions do show which strategies players value, even though they are not official comparisons. Two examples:

Read these as examples of how players reason about pets. Neither post proves that its pet is the strongest, and a claimed effect should be tested in your own battles before you build a team around it.

Practical takeaway for choosing a pet
Pick the pet that solves your current battle problem. If your team struggles against a specific element, choose a pet that exploits that weakness. If your wizard goes down too quickly, choose a helper with high health or defense. If your team lacks damage, choose a striker. A pet that matches a gap in your team will usually outperform a famous pet that doesn’t.
Any answer naming one pet as the strongest ever should be treated as opinion unless it is backed by official Prodigy data, which does not currently exist for a full all-time comparison.
