Wii Deleted You is an online creepypasta video series built around Eteled, a Mii that people discover on a Wii they did not create. The series turns the Mii Channel’s ordinary deletion command into a supernatural threat: Eteled fears being deleted, and in the fiction, deleted Miis end up in a place called the Hallway, where they suffer. The story runs through three connected arcs, starting with Kyle’s encounters, moving to an origin prequel about Eteled’s past, and continuing with Sam’s Story.

The premise

The horror works because it borrows a mundane feature. On a Wii, a Mii is a user-made avatar that can be edited or removed, so deletion is a routine menu action. The series asks what would happen if a Mii could feel that erasure and was aware of what came after it. In the story’s logic, the answer is the Hallway, and the threat is less about a haunted console than about being unmade. Eteled’s name is “delete” spelled backward, a detail the series uses to tie the character to the fear at the center of the premise.

How the story unfolds

Kyle’s first encounters

The opening arc follows Kyle Sanders, who receives a Wii and finds an unfamiliar Mii named Eteled. Eteled returns after being deleted, and eventually explains what happens to deleted Miis. That explanation is the turning point: deletion stops being a console action and becomes the story’s image of erasure and death. Kyle’s arc is therefore mainly about discovery, with the dread building from an unexplained presence to a rule that the character is trying to escape.

Eteled: Origins

The prequel, Eteled: Origins, presents Eteled as the afterlife of Henry Morris, a former Nintendo employee. In that account, Henry creates the Mii, suffers a fatal electrical accident, and becomes connected to the character. The Wii is later removed without its memory being wiped and reaches Kyle, which links the origin story to the first arc. Nintendo, its employees, and real Wii consoles are not depicted as sources of these events. They are fictional elements of the series.

Sam’s Story

Sam’s Story follows Samantha Coleman, who finds the Wii years after the events of Kyle’s arc. The story builds a bond between Sam and Eteled and introduces new conflict, including the Corrupted Mii as an antagonist. The later arc shifts Eteled from the primary threat of Kyle’s story toward a more complicated and sympathetic figure, which changes how the series asks viewers to read him.

Comparing the three arcs

Arc Protagonist Main focus Eteled’s role Key new element
Kyle’s first encounters Kyle Sanders Discovery and growing fear Unexplained, frightening presence that returns after deletion The Hallway, revealed as the fate of deleted Miis
Eteled: Origins Henry Morris (backstory) Fictional origin of the character Afterlife of Henry Morris The fatal accident and the Wii’s removal without a memory wipe
Sam’s Story Samantha Coleman A later relationship with the Mii Sympathetic, more complicated figure The Corrupted Mii

Who made it and when

Secondary reference sources identify Nuclear Blue, formerly known as IceyPie, as the creator. Know Your Meme dates the first episode to August 8, 2017, and an episode listing gives the same date for the first part. Neither source is a creator interview or an official series page, so the authorship and release date should be read as the best-documented account rather than a statement from the creator. Readers looking for a primary confirmation should check the creator’s own channel listings, which were not established here.

Canon and the fan animatic

A fan animatic adaptation was made by TheMaskedChris. According to the community wiki, it follows the broad story through Sam’s Story but changes details and adds non-canon material. Viewers should treat it as a reinterpretation rather than a substitute for the original episodes, and should not cite it as canon when discussing the series’ continuity.

Key phrases from the story

Two lines capture the series’ central mystery and fear. Sam asks, “What did that name mean?” when she confronts the mysterious Mii, and Eteled repeats, “Please don’t delete me.” Both lines are fictional dialogue from the series as recorded in a community transcript. They are not statements by the creator or by any real-world authority.

What is and is not established

  • Established within the series: Eteled’s connection to Henry Morris, the Hallway as the fate of deleted Miis, and the three-arc structure.
  • Reported by secondary sources: the creator identity (Nuclear Blue, formerly IceyPie) and the August 8, 2017 first-episode date.
  • Not established: a creator interview, an official series page, the current availability of each episode, and whether any official merchandise exists.
  • Not real Wii behavior: the Hallway and Eteled’s afterlife are fictional, and nothing in the series describes how actual Wii consoles store or delete data.

Canon disputes beyond the fan animatic’s changes were not established in the available sources, so fan theories about how the arcs fit together should be labeled as theories.
