If you judge by the wording, Roblox error 267 sounds the scariest: Roblox labels it “Banned from an Experience.” That usually refers to being kicked or banned from one specific experience—not a ban from Roblox as a whole. Roblox does not publish an official ranking of error codes by scariness.
Why error 267 sounds the scariest
Roblox’s error-code directory labels 267 “Banned from an Experience,” which reads like a serious punishment. But the scope matters: a Roblox staff response explains that this code can mean the experience developer kicked the player from that experience. It is not, by itself, evidence that Roblox banned the account platform-wide.
If you receive 267, contact the developer of the specific experience to ask about its kick or ban. The code alone does not explain why the developer took that action.
When error 277 feels worse
If “scariest” means most disruptive rather than most ominous, error 277 is a contender. Roblox describes it as losing connection to the game server. A staff response says the problem may be anywhere between the player and the server; in rare cases, the server may have crashed. So 277 alone does not prove your Wi-Fi, router, or internet service is at fault.

Other Roblox errors that can block access
Different codes describe different situations, so they should not be treated as a single severity ranking:
- 264: The same account launched an experience from different devices.
- 268: The player was kicked due to unexpected client behavior.
- 279 / ID 17: The client failed to connect to the experience.
- 403: Access to www.roblox.com was denied.
- 524: The player does not have permission to join a particular game.
For access-denial wording, 403 or 524 may feel as alarming as 267, depending on whether the problem is reaching Roblox’s site or joining one experience.

What to do when an error appears
- Read the full message and note the code. The code points to a category of problem; it does not always establish the cause.
- For 267, contact the experience developer. The issue described is a kick from that experience, so start with its developer rather than assuming a platform-wide ban.
- For 277, treat it as a connection loss, not a diagnosis. Roblox’s directory also mentions meeting minimum system requirements, an internet speed recommendation of 4–8 Mb/s or above, and possible conflicts with antivirus or other third-party applications. These are general Roblox guidance, not guaranteed fixes for a particular 277 error.
- For a code not covered in Roblox’s directory, contact Roblox Support. Roblox directs players there for unlisted codes.
So, which one is the scariest?
Error 267 wins for the most alarming wording; error 277 may be more frustrating because it interrupts play. Neither label establishes a universal severity ranking: Roblox publishes descriptions of errors, not a “scariest” list.
