None of them sits in a fixed spot on the map. Each one appears through a randomized drop, so the order you find them in changes from match to match.
The four perks
- Juggernog (health boost)
- Quick Revive (faster teammate revives, and solo revive support)
- Double Tap Root Beer, also called Double Tap II (faster rate of fire)
- Speed Cola (faster reload)
Both a fan-made Nuketown Zombies guide and a 2012 community video description list this same set of four.
How the perk and Pack-a-Punch machines appear
Nuketown Zombies does not have a set perk-machine order. A fan guide describes the perk machines and the Pack-a-Punch machine as dropping from the sky at intervals. Each machine lands in one of several designated zones. The guide names the spawn area near the yellow truck and spots around the yellow and green houses. Treat this as a description from a player guide rather than an official specification, since Microsoft’s store page for the content does not describe gameplay mechanics. The 2012 video description likewise says the four perks spawn in random order.
In practice, this means you should plan around the zones rather than a memorized route. If a machine you need has not dropped yet, the fan guide’s zone list tells you where to watch.

Perk prices
Costs are where the sources disagree, so the table attributes each figure to the source that gives it.
| Perk | Price in the fan guide | Price in the 2012 video description |
|---|---|---|
| Juggernog | 2,500 points | Not stated |
| Double Tap Root Beer | 2,000 points | Not stated |
| Speed Cola | 3,000 points | Not stated |
| Quick Revive | 500 points in solo; 1,500 points in co-op | 500 points in solo (per its solo note); 2,500 points in its general price list |
The Quick Revive conflict is the one that matters. The fan guide gives 500 in solo and 1,500 in co-op. The video description gives 500 for solo, then lists 2,500 in its general price list. Because these are different sources and the video is from 2012, there is no single price you can treat as universal. Check the price in your own session before you plan a purchase around it.
Rank #2
- A TEAM SPORT, NOT A TOSS GAME. Two teams play at the same time. One side attacks the pole, the other defends and intercepts. First to eleven, win by two.
- OFFENSE AND DEFENSE, LIVE. Passing, interceptions, turnovers, rebounds and penalty shots. Possession changes constantly, so the game moves instead of taking turns.
- BUILT FOR FOUR TO TEN. Flexible team sizes from two-a-side to five-a-side. Best with six or more.
- MOST GROUPS LEARN IT AS THEY PLAY. Rules take about two minutes. Because the format is new, the skill gap is much shorter than in an established sport.
- SETUP IS ABOUT THREE MINUTES, ANY FLAT SURFACE. Grass, turf, sand or gym, with no out-of-bounds. Collapsible pole, penalty zone, sport disc and carry bag. Replacement parts available.
Quick Revive at the start
The 2012 video description says Quick Revive is available from the start in solo mode. The fan guide’s solo and co-op prices are consistent with the mode-dependent pricing described above. Neither source offers an official statement on how this behaves in later patches or on other platforms, so treat the start-of-round availability as the video’s claim rather than a confirmed rule.

Microsoft’s Xbox store listing describes Nuketown Zombies as Call of Duty: Black Ops II content. It says “This content requires a game (sold separately)” and lists Call of Duty: Black Ops II as compatible. If you do not already own the base game, you will need it. The listing confirms Xbox storefront access only. It does not establish current availability on every platform, so check your platform’s store before assuming the map is available to you.
