The Talmberg blacksmith’s house is in the western part of the town in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and the game does not mark it on the village map. Walkthroughs describe the approach as southwest of town, across the river. If you are hunting for the Queen of Sheba’s Sword fragment that sits in this house, enter through the front door and check the room reached through the second door on the left, where the fragment is on a barrel.
Finding the house
Treat the western side of Talmberg as your search area. The house has no labeled blacksmith’s-house marker on the map, so you will need to locate it by sight rather than by following a waypoint. The two guides that describe its position do not contradict each other: Gamepressure places the house in western Talmberg, while Neoseeker gives a more practical reference point, southwest of town and across the river. Use the river as your orientation. If you cross it heading southwest from the town center, you are heading toward the right area.
Do not confuse the house with the blacksmith’s worksite. Gamepressure places the blacksmith’s working area by the Talmberg quarry, which is a separate location from his home. The same guide also describes obtaining the house key from him as an option, so the blacksmith is a useful contact point if you want to enter the building legitimately rather than looking for another way in.
Finding the sword fragment
The house matters because it holds the Talmberg piece of the Queen of Sheba’s Sword activity, which belongs to the Sasau activities. Gamer Guides gives the most precise route inside:

- Huge realistic open world: majestic castles, wide fields, all rendered in stunning high-end graphics

- Character development: choose your gear, improve your skills and earn new perks
- Walk up to the house and go through the front door.
- Take the second door on your left.
- Look in the room behind that door. The fragment is on a barrel.
If you do not find it on the first pass, check the barrel surfaces in that room before searching the rest of the house, since the guides place the fragment there rather than on a shelf or table.

How current these directions are
The directions above come from long-standing walkthroughs. Gamepressure, Neoseeker, and Gamer Guides all have guide pages that date to the period around the game’s 2018 release, and the publication dates of those pages were not confirmed for this article. Position descriptions and object placement can change with later patches, so if the building or barrel does not match these descriptions, rely on the landmarks in the guides, such as the river crossing and the quarry, and search the room thoroughly before assuming you are in the wrong place.

- A living, medieval world that dynamically responds to your actions but Exists without you
- Realistic & extensive medieval combat. As close as you ever wanted to get to the real thing
- Intriguing story based on historical events inspired by the real-world challenge
- Exceptional level of graphic detail with a dynamic AI system, day and night cycles and changing weather patterns
The directions also come with limits. None of the consulted guides gives coordinates, and the screenshots they use are the most reliable way to match a building to the description. Where two guides differ in wording, the difference is in how they describe the approach, not in which district the house is in.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What to take away
- The house is in western Talmberg and is not on the village map.
- The river and the town’s southwest edge are the most useful reference points.
- The Queen of Sheba’s Sword fragment is on a barrel in the room through the second door on the left after the front door.
- The blacksmith’s quarry worksite is a different place from his house.
The fragment is part of the Sasau activities, so if you are collecting the whole set, the Talmberg piece is one of several locations you will need to visit.
