How to get Jungle Grass Seeds
- Find Jungle grass and look for small plants growing on it.
- Break the plants with a tool or weapon. According to the Official Terraria Wiki, each destroyed plant has a 1/100 (1%) chance to drop Jungle Grass Seeds.
- Continue harvesting plants around the Jungle. The 1% chance applies to each plant; it does not guarantee a seed after exactly 100 plants.
The seeds can be planted on Mud Blocks to grow Jungle grass. With sufficient growth and depending on depth, this can help create an artificial Jungle or Underground Jungle. See the Official Terraria Wiki’s Seeds page for planting details.

Other ways to obtain them
Buy Mushroom Grass Seeds and transmute them with Shimmer
The Dryad sells Mushroom Grass Seeds while she is in a Glowing Mushroom biome. Transmute those seeds with Shimmer to obtain Jungle Grass Seeds. The Official Terraria Wiki describes this as the easiest method for obtaining large quantities, though it requires access to the vendor setup and Shimmer. The Official Terraria Wiki’s farming guide also describes this route for establishing a Jungle plant farm.
Use Poo in an Extractinator
Processing Poo in an Extractinator has a 0.67% chance per item to produce Jungle Grass Seeds, according to the Official Terraria Wiki.
