The sixth Gym in Pokémon Emerald is in Fortree City. If you can’t enter, go east from Fortree along Route 120 to meet Steven and get the Devon Scope, then return to reveal the invisible Kecleon blocking the entrance.
How to reach the Fortree City Gym
- From Fortree City, leave to the east and follow Route 120 until you meet Steven.
- Battle the Kecleon there and receive the Devon Scope from Steven.
- Return to Fortree City and approach the Gym entrance. Use the Devon Scope to reveal the invisible Kecleon blocking the way.
What to expect inside
Fortree Gym Leader Winona specializes in Flying-type Pokémon. The Gym’s rotating gate passages form the route to her; defeating her earns the Feather Badge.
