In Club Penguin Legacy, go to the Pet Shop: its help page currently lists Puffle Roundup among the minigames available there. Club Penguin Legacy is an independent fan remake, not an official Disney game. The original Club Penguin minigame had a different location history and ended up in Puffle Park.
How to find Puffle Roundup in Club Penguin Legacy
- Open Club Penguin Legacy and enter the Pet Shop.
- Look for Puffle Roundup among the minigames listed for that room. The [Club Penguin Legacy help page] identifies the Pet Shop as its current listed location.
The help page also describes minigames as a primary way to earn in-game coins. Room layouts or availability can change, so the help page is the best place to check if you cannot find the game.
Is this the original Club Penguin game?
No. Club Penguin Legacy describes itself as an independent remake and says it is not affiliated with the Walt Disney Company or Disney Interactive Experience. Its homepage also characterizes its use of original audiovisual assets as archival. The [Club Penguin Legacy homepage] provides that disclosure.
The original Club Penguin desktop game closed on March 30, 2017, according to the [Club Penguin Archive]. So the Pet Shop directions above are for the remake, not an active version of the original Disney service.

Where the original game was located
Community-maintained history records Puffle Roundup’s release as December 14, 2005, and tracks its locations as follows. These are historical details from the [Club Penguin community wiki], not a current official game listing.
| Original location | Dates listed |
|---|---|
| Snow Forts | December 14, 2005–February 24, 2006 |
| Plaza | February 24–March 17, 2006 |
| Pet Shop | March 17, 2006–April 17, 2014 |
| Puffle Park | April 17, 2014–March 30, 2017 |
This explains why older guides may point to Puffle Park while a current Legacy help page points to the Pet Shop: they describe different versions and periods.

What to expect when you play
In the original game, players used the mouse to move Puffles into a pen, with remaining time contributing to the score, according to the community history. Club Penguin Legacy’s community wiki reports that its version received new art and mechanics on September 7, 2025, so do not assume that every original detail applies unchanged. That revamp date is reported by the [Club Penguin Legacy community wiki].
The remake launched on its island in 2022, according to the same community-wiki entry. A separate [Club Penguin Legacy team post from September 20, 2024] discusses the Pet Shop and Puffle features, but does not establish the date of the Roundup revamp.
