Floof Yarn is an in-game crafting material in Infinity Nikki, not a physical product. The main way to get it is to unlock the Bye-Bye Dust outfit, use its Animal Grooming ability, and groom Floofs. For exact spawn points, an interactive map guide lists 39 known Floof Yarn locations across three maps. That count is the guide’s own tally, not an official game statistic, and the guide was last updated September 30, 2026.
Unlock Animal Grooming first
Grooming is the core route, and you cannot use it until you have the Bye-Bye Dust outfit. The Infinity Nikki Wiki’s guide to Bye-Bye Dust says the outfit grants the Animal Grooming ability and is introduced during the Land of Wishes quest, when Nikki meets Jean and Ruby near the Great Wishtree in Florawish. That guide’s crawl date is older than the current game, so treat its wording as a starting point and follow the quest prompts on your screen if they differ.
Groom Floofs to collect yarn
Floofs are the source of Floof Yarn, and grooming them is the principal gathering method described by both the Infinity Nikki Wiki and the community Fandom item database. The steps are:
- Finish the Land of Wishes quest line until the Bye-Bye Dust outfit and its grooming ability are available.
- Equip Bye-Bye Dust and confirm the Animal Grooming ability is active before you approach a Floof.
- Go to a Floof and use Animal Grooming on it. Yarn is the resource this produces; check the amount you receive against the guide you are following.
- Repeat at other Floofs, using the map guide below to find ones you have not visited yet.
The Fandom database identifies Floof Yarn as a crafting item and lists its crafting and shop information. The sources reviewed do not give per-Floof yield numbers, so do not plan a farming session around a fixed amount per Floof.
