End of the Line has three weapon workbenches: Pistol, SMG, and Rifle. The Pistol bench is in a house in the southeastern trenches near the second AA gun, the SMG bench is on the upper level of a warehouse in the northwest by the train tracks, and the Rifle bench is inside the armory on the second floor of the central Blockhaus/factory. The Rifle armory door can be opened with the armory key carried by an officer or with a satchel charge.
Workbench locations at a glance
| Workbench | Where it is | How to reach it | Access notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pistol | House in the southeastern trenches, to the right of the second AA gun | Climb the vines on the exterior wall to the second floor | Bench sits on the lower floor, so you descend once inside |
| SMG | Warehouse in the northwest, beside the train tracks and trainyard | Enter the warehouse and go up to the second floor | Bench is in the back portion of the upper walkway |
| Rifle | Armory on the second floor of the large central Blockhaus/factory | Climb to the second floor and reach the armory door | Door opens with the armory key from an officer, or with a satchel charge |
Finding each workbench
Pistol Workbench
The Pistol bench is the only one of the three that requires climbing. The house sits in the No Man’s Land area near the second AA gun, so it is easiest to approach from the trench side.
- Move through the southeastern trenches to the house on the right-hand side of the second AA gun.
- Climb the vines on the exterior wall to reach the second floor.
- Go down to the lower floor, where the Pistol Workbench is located.
SMG Workbench
The SMG bench is in a northwestern warehouse next to the train tracks and the factory and trainyard area. Once inside, the bench is on the upper level rather than at ground floor.
- Enter the warehouse in the northwest of the map.
- Go up to the second floor.
- Follow the upper walkway toward the rear of the building. The SMG Workbench is in the back portion of this upper level.
Rifle Workbench
The Rifle bench is the only one behind a locked door, so you will need either the armory key or a satchel charge before you can reach it.

- AXIS INVASION MODE The fan-favourite Axis Invasion mode is back! invade another player’s Campaign as an Axis sniper and engage in a deadly game of cat and mouse. Whether you stalk your prey, lay an ambush, or run in guns blazing, the threat of invasion provides a new dimension to the campaign’s challenge.
- Enter the large central Blockhaus/factory and climb to the second floor.
- Find the armory room and its door.
- Open the door with the armory key, which is taken from an officer, or place a satchel charge on the door.
- Step inside. The Rifle Workbench is in the armory.
Both access methods are described in the same way by the guides we checked. Neither source establishes a difference in gameplay between using the key and using a satchel charge, so choose whichever resource you have on hand.
What the workbenches unlock
Each workbench is an in-game collectible that upgrades weapons when you interact with it. The location guides list the rewards as the Pistol Marksmanship Pack, the Secondary Handling Upgrade, and the Rifle Recoil Pack. The guides name the Pistol and Rifle packs alongside their benches, but none of the sources we checked ties the Secondary Handling Upgrade to a single bench, so check the bench’s on-screen prompt when you interact with the SMG bench to confirm which upgrade you receive.

Interacting with the full set of workbenches is associated with the Innovator achievement and trophy. Push Square reports 22 workbenches across the main campaign’s eight missions. That figure covers the whole campaign rather than End of the Line alone, so the three benches in this mission are one part of the total.

What the guides do not confirm
- Missability: The guides do not say whether any bench can become permanently missed as you progress through the mission. Interact with each bench when you pass it, if you can.
- Platform differences: The location descriptions are not tied to platform-specific patch notes, so layout details may vary if a later update changes the mission.
- Source type: The locations come from third-party guides, not from an official walkthrough by the developer, Rebellion. They match across the guides we checked, but they are not official confirmation.
