Enter Cenote Ja Ja Gural through a portal that may appear after a Br’aaxskin Treasure Map; reach Vault Oneiron by opening a Gargantuaskin Treasure Map coffer in Living Memory. Neither route guarantees the Torch.
How to get the Torch
Community item records list the Torch as a possible reward from both Cenote Ja Ja Gural and Vault Oneiron. The two duties use different treasure-map routes:
| Duty | Map and location | How to enter | What the sources establish |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cenote Ja Ja Gural | Br’aaxskin Treasure Map | Complete the map; a portal to the duty can occasionally appear. | Community item records list the Torch among its rewards. The map portal and item drop are both uncertain; no Torch drop rate is stated. Treasure Hunt guide · Torch item record |
| Vault Oneiron | Gargantuaskin Treasure Map, exclusive to Living Memory | Open the treasure coffer obtained from the map to gain entry. | Square Enix confirms that only Gargantuaskin maps grant Vault Oneiron access; community item records also list the Torch there. Which route should you choose?
Choose based on which map you can obtain and whether you prefer an occasional portal or a coffer-based entry. Br’aaxskin maps may lead to Cenote Ja Ja Gural when a portal appears. Gargantuaskin maps are the route to Vault Oneiron, and they are exclusive to Living Memory. The available sources do not establish that one duty has better Torch odds than the other.
What the Torch item is—and what is confirmed
FFXIV Collect labels the Torch a tradeable Patch 7.3 fashion accessory. The community item page reproduces its description: “Ideal for adventurers who like their light sources accompanied by the scent of burning pine sap. Use to acquire a torch.” That flavor text does not establish that the accessory emits light, so it should not be treated as a functional light source.

Square Enix’s Patch 7.3 notes confirm the Gargantuaskin map and Vault Oneiron mechanics and say Cenote Ja Ja Gural rewards were adjusted. They do not name the Torch as a reward. The specific Torch-to-duty listings come from community-maintained records, with FFXIV Collect independently listing the two sources.
