Otherwise, saving is reasonable: the next version, Sanctuary of Ink, starts October 15, but the official notice reviewed does not confirm its featured operator. Check your in-game banner screen for the current countdown; closing times can vary by server region.
What banner is available now?
The current featured character banner is Resplendent Spectrum RE-Factor Headhunting #1, with Yvonne as its rate-up 6-star. Gryphline’s official September 23 notice says it opened September 24, 2026 at 12:00 server time and closes before the version update and maintenance. It does not give one universal local closing time, so use the countdown shown in your game.
Prydwen’s schedule, last updated October 8, lists Patch 1.5 Phase 2 as running September 24 through October 15 in EU server time. Treat that as a regional secondary-source schedule, not a substitute for your in-client countdown.
The previous Winter Hunt banner featuring Typhoeus ended September 30, 2026 at 11:59 server time, according to its official notice; it is no longer the banner to choose.

Make the decision based on your own account and priorities. The available notices establish banner contents and rules, not a universal roster ranking or a comparison of Yvonne’s performance against other operators.
- Yvonne is a personal or roster priority: Pulling can make sense if you knowingly accept the potential cost and have planned for it.
- You are undecided or saving for another character: Holding your resources is reasonable, especially if you would regret spending them before the next featured operator is confirmed.
- You are close to a guarantee: Count only qualifying attempts in the same-name Resplendent Spectrum RE-Factor series. Confirm your progress and banner type before spending.
- Your budget is limited: Decide what you can afford before pulling; do not rely on an unconfirmed future banner or assume a free bonus pull advances the guarantee.
How the RE-Factor guarantee works
Gryphline’s September banner notice says the rate-up 6-star is guaranteed within the first 120 attempts across banners of the same name, and progress carries to future Resplendent Spectrum RE-Factor Headhunting banners. This carryover is specific to that banner family; do not assume it applies to Chartered Headhunting or weapon RE-Factor Issue.
A separate official development notice says, “A 6★ operator is guaranteed within 80 headhunting attempts.” That is the base RE-Factor 6-star guarantee, not the distinct 120-attempt guarantee for the rate-up character. The two figures describe different outcomes; reaching the base 6-star guarantee does not itself mean the featured operator is guaranteed.
The September notice also lists free Urgent Recruitment rewards at 30, 60, and 90 attempts. Those bonus attempts do not count toward the 120-attempt rate-up guarantee. Keep the free rewards separate from your qualifying guarantee progress when deciding whether you can reach the featured rate-up guarantee.

What is confirmed about the next banner?
Hypergryph’s October 7 development notice confirms that the next version, Sanctuary of Ink, begins October 15, 2026. The notice does not name the next featured operator or establish the next banner’s rules. The date alone is not a reason to assume a particular character is coming.
If you do not want Yvonne, waiting for an official banner announcement is a sensible choice. If you do want her, compare your current qualifying attempts and resource budget with the time remaining on your server before deciding.
