If by “free” you mean included with a subscription, Forza Horizon 6 and Forza Motorsport are available through PC Game Pass. You need an active eligible membership; neither is established here as a permanently free-to-play PC game.
Which Forza games are included with PC Game Pass?
As of October 8, 2026, Forza Horizon 6 Standard Edition is included with an active PC Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate membership. Forza Motorsport Standard Edition is also included with PC Game Pass. In both cases, access is part of the membership, not a permanent free license. Forza’s announcement and Turn 10’s announcement describe the membership terms.
| Game | PC storefronts named by the publisher | Membership access |
|---|---|---|
| Forza Horizon 6 | Xbox app and Steam | Standard Edition included with active PC Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate membership |
| Forza Motorsport | Microsoft Store and Steam | Standard Edition included with PC Game Pass, Console, or Ultimate membership |
The official announcements identify the two games’ storefronts and membership inclusion; they do not establish that storefront prices, features, save handling, or membership rules are identical.
Which one should you choose?
The main distinction established by the official descriptions is the kind of racing experience: Forza Horizon 6 is the open-world Horizon game, while Forza Motorsport is the Motorsport series entry. Choose based on which series you want to play, then check that game’s current listing in your region.

What does “free” mean here?
“Included with Game Pass” means you can access the game while your eligible membership is active. It does not mean you own the game outright or can keep playing through Game Pass after membership access ends. If you do not have an eligible membership, check the game’s current store page for purchase options and price; those details can vary and are not established here.
Where can you check current PC availability?
Forza Horizon 6 is listed for PC through the Xbox app and Steam; Forza Motorsport is listed through the Microsoft Store and Steam. Microsoft’s PC games catalog also surfaces Forza titles and Game Pass listings. Catalogs and subscription availability can change, so confirm the live listing in your regional store before subscribing or buying.
