Lachlan is Lachlan Power, a Brisbane-based gaming creator known for Fortnite. Epic Games added him to Fortnite’s Icon Series as its third creator from the game’s community, following Ninja and Loserfruit. Epic’s announcement presented the set as creator recognition, but did not detail its private selection criteria.
Who is Lachlan?
Lachlan Power is a gaming content creator from Brisbane and a well-known Fortnite creator, according to PWR’s creator profile. He launched PWR in 2020. The profile also displays an audience total, but does not date that figure, so it should not be treated as a current or time-specific statistic.
In a March 24, 2023 interview with Red Bull, Lachlan described the competitive nature of gaming and the challenge of continually improving as what hooked him. That explains his own connection to gaming; it is not an explanation of Epic’s decision to make a Fortnite set for him.
Why did Fortnite give Lachlan his own skin?
Epic said Lachlan was joining the Icon Series as a creator from the Fortnite community. Its October 30, 2020 announcement called him the “third creator to join the Icon Series from among the Fortnite community,” after streamers Ninja and Loserfruit. That is the stated context for the set: recognition of a creator associated with the game.

Epic said players could compete to win the full set before its planned Item Shop release on November 12, 2020, at 7 PM ET. Lachlan was also scheduled to show the cosmetics during a livestream on the tournament day. Those dates and times describe Epic’s 2020 announcement; they do not establish whether the items are available in the Item Shop now. The set is made up of in-game cosmetics, not physical gaming equipment.

No. A controller is a physical gameplay accessory, separate from Lachlan’s Outfit, Back Bling, Emote, and Pickaxe. NACON announced a partnership with Lachlan and PWR on August 22, 2023, and named NACON controllers and RIG headsets in its announcement. That does not identify a particular model as Lachlan’s current choice, establish that one is required for Fortnite, or make either product part of the Icon Series set.
