Caitlyn Kiramman is a Piltover Enforcer in Arcane and a marksman in League of Legends. In the series, her relationship with Vi develops into an explicit romance: they share their first kiss in season two. Riot’s game profile says Caitlyn is often paired with Vi, but does not label them a couple.
Who is Caitlyn in Arcane?
Caitlyn Kiramman is a Piltover Enforcer, voiced by Katie Leung. She is one of the central characters in Arcane, the animated series based on League of Legends. The show places her work as an officer alongside her personal connection with Vi, whose voice actor is Hailee Steinfeld. Netflix’s character guide identifies the characters and their roles.
In Riot’s game profile, Caitlyn is described as Piltover’s finest peacekeeper and an intelligent marksman who uses a distinctive hextech rifle. The profile says she is often paired with Vi, whose impulsive nature contrasts with Caitlyn’s. That is a description of their partnership in the game bio, not a romantic label. Are Caitlyn and Vi together in Arcane?
Yes: Arcane develops Caitlyn and Vi’s bond into a romance, and season two depicts their first kiss. The moment makes the romantic dimension explicit, though it does not by itself settle every detail of their relationship after the finale. Amanda Overton, the episode’s co-executive producer and writer, discussed the scene with the Los Angeles Times.

The relationship is not free of tension. Netflix’s production feature describes season two as following Vi’s falling out with Caitlyn and with her sister Jinx, reflecting the personal and political conflict that shapes the pair’s story. Hailee Steinfeld also described their dynamic to Netflix Tudum as “a lot of push and pull,” adding that Vi relies on and trusts Caitlyn and that they make a great team.
Does League of Legends canon say they are a couple?
Riot’s cited champion bio calls Caitlyn and Vi frequent partners, but does not say that they are romantically involved. The clearest evidence for their romance comes from events in Arcane, so it is more accurate to distinguish the show’s on-screen relationship from what this short game profile establishes.
