Nothing in that material shows Broly has a way to seal or erase an immortal being.
Which Broly and which Zamasu are being compared
“Broly” has several versions, and the answer changes with the one you mean. This comparison uses the Broly introduced in the Dragon Ball Super film, not the earlier Dragon Ball Z movie character. “Fused Zamasu” means the Potara fusion of Goku Black and future Zamasu from the Future Trunks arc.
What the official sources establish
The Dragon Ball official site is the primary reference used here. It supports three facts about these characters, and each one covers a different part of the matchup.
Broly’s power ceiling
The official site’s Weekly Character Showcase #46, published March 22, 2022, says Broly awakens Super Saiyan Full Power while fighting Gogeta. The showcase presents the form as Broly’s own evolution and stresses his enormous latent potential. It does not give a numerical power level, so any ranking of Broly against Zamasu on raw strength is a judgment rather than a measured result.

Fused Zamasu’s power and durability
The official site’s summary of the story so far, published with the announcement of Dragon Ball Super Volume 18, says Zamasu and Goku Black used Potara to fuse into a single being of astonishing power. The same summary says immortal Zamasu stayed undefeated even after Vegito wore down his body and Trunks cut him with his sword. The official character showcase #106, dated May 23, 2023, covers Zamasu’s immortality wish and the fusion itself.
What actually ended the threat
In the same arc summary, Zeno erases Zamasu and the entire future timeline from reality. That is a specific resolution within the story, not a combat capability that transfers to Broly. A fighter who can hit hard has not thereby shown a way to end an opponent who cannot be killed in the ordinary sense.

- Is it a physical bout with no special rules? Broly is the defensible choice. His Super Saiyan Full Power is the strongest official showing either fighter has in a direct exchange, although no source compares the two head to head.
- Must the opponent be permanently defeated? Fused Zamasu is the safer choice. His immortality is the obstacle, and the official material gives Broly no established answer to it.
- Is the question about canon? There is no canonical result. The matchup has never been staged, so any verdict is an inference.
Limits of this comparison
- The Zamasu arc summary covers the manga story. The anime tells some events differently, so specific fight beats should not be assumed to carry over between the two.
- The official sources give story descriptions and qualitative language, not power scales. Any ranking of exact strength is a fan calculation.
- No official crossover fight between Broly and Fused Zamasu was found in the official sources consulted, so no creator has ruled on who would win.
Read as a canon question, the matchup has no answer. Read as a hypothetical, Broly wins the physical exchange on the evidence he has, and Fused Zamasu wins the longer contest because the only shown ending for him comes from outside the fight.
