If your Auric Cells have not appeared after purchase, first allow up to 24 hours. Then restart Dead by Daylight and check the in-game store if you bought them through Steam, Epic Games Store, or PlayStation. If they are still missing, verify the purchase platform and account, check the cross-progression rules, and contact the store or Behaviour Support with your receipt as appropriate.
Start with the purchase time and platform
Behaviour Interactive’s missing Auric Cells guide asks players to wait 24 hours after purchase before following its platform-specific steps. If that time has not elapsed, wait until it has before treating the transaction as missing.
After 24 hours, identify which store processed the purchase and which platform and account you are using to play. A purchase made for a different platform or account may not show where you expect it.
Try the steps for your platform
Steam or Epic Games Store
- Fully close and restart Dead by Daylight.
- Open the in-game store and check whether the Auric Cells appear. Behaviour says cells can sometimes remain pending and that revisiting the store may resolve this; it is not guaranteed.
- If you used a VPN while purchasing, note that Behaviour says a VPN can alter the price and occasionally cause acquisition to fail.
Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, or Microsoft Store
- Check the relevant store’s purchase history and confirm that the Auric Cells pack was bought for the platform you are using.
- If the purchase was for the wrong platform, contact Microsoft Store or Xbox support. Behaviour says it cannot process these payments or manually credit the cells.
Behaviour treats Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Microsoft Store as distinct purchase destinations in its support instructions, so check the exact destination rather than only the Microsoft account.

PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5
- Restart the game and open the in-game store.
- If it says “there are no packs available,” the support guide identifies a possible account, game, and store region mismatch, called a “SKU Mismatch.” Contact PlayStation about a refund; Behaviour says it cannot process the payment or manually add the currency.
Nintendo Switch
- Review Nintendo purchase history and confirm which Nintendo Account received the purchase.
- If the cells were bought on the wrong Nintendo Account, contact Nintendo about a refund.
Check cross-progression and the Switch exception
According to Behaviour’s Cross-Progression FAQ, synced accounts on participating platforms use a shared Auric Cells wallet, but Nintendo Switch Auric Cells are excluded: they remain on the Switch platform account and cannot be shared. If you bought cells on Switch and are checking another platform, look on the Switch account instead.
For progression sharing, platform accounts must be synced to a Behaviour Account. Confirm that the accounts are linked and that you are viewing the wallet associated with the purchase, taking the Switch exception into account.

Where to go if the cells are still missing
If the platform-specific checks do not explain the problem, submit a request to Dead by Daylight Support and include the purchase receipt so the team can investigate.
For a purchase made outside the game client, Behaviour’s refund guidance directs players to the store that processed the transaction, including Steam, Epic Games Store, Windows Store, PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo. Behaviour does not promise a refund or manual credit for an external-store purchase. Refund eligibility and processing are determined by the platform store; the support articles do not specify a resolution time.
