Season 4.5 release date and official start time
The official Marvel Rivals patch notes for Version 20251010, published October 3, 2025, give the update start as October 10, 2025, at 09:00:00 UTC. The notes estimate two hours of maintenance. The separate Season 4.5 Dev Vision announcement, published September 30, 2025, also names October 10 UTC as the start date but does not give another time.

How to interpret the maintenance estimate
The 09:00 UTC time is the announced start of the update process, not a confirmed time that players could enter the game. The patch notes estimated maintenance at two hours; actual availability could not be established from that estimate alone.
Use UTC as the reference and convert 09:00 UTC to your local time for October 10, accounting for daylight-saving rules where applicable. Marvel Rivals’ January 2025 patch notes provide background: starting with Season 1, the unlock time for daily missions, new store items, and most events moved from 07:00 UTC to 09:00 UTC. That schedule context does not independently establish Season 4.5’s release time.

What Season 4.5 added
The update highlighted Daredevil as a new hero and introduced the Jade Scrolls of K’un-Lun event. Its official notes also listed a free Storm – Judicator XieZhi costume reward, other event rewards, a home-background switch, and store content.

Season 4.5 was a 2025 update. The October 2026 official notes for Version 20261009 concern Season 10.5, which begins October 9, 2026, at 09:00 UTC. That is a separate release and should not be confused with Season 4.5.
