Why the teams made the crossover
Hibernian Workshop’s announcement attributes its statement to “the team,” without naming an individual speaker. The team said it had wanted to collaborate for a long time and described translating the world of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 into Astral Ascent’s pixel art as a central challenge. It called the update a tribute to the game and to its work with Sandfall Interactive.
