In FC 27 Ultimate Team, earn Coins by playing, collecting mode rewards and selling Items at a fair Transfer Market price. FC Points are a separate, optional currency: get them through supported store or retailer routes, or receive them in eligible edition bundles. EA says you cannot buy or transfer Coins between accounts.
FC 27 Coins and FC Points are different currencies
Coins are Ultimate Team’s earnable currency. FC Points are purchased or granted through eligible offers. EA’s currency safety guidance says Coins can be earned through play and legitimate sales, but cannot be purchased. FC Points are optional; buying them is not required to play Ultimate Team.

How to earn Coins in FC 27
Play Ultimate Team matches
EA’s 2026 FC 27 Launch Update says post-match Coin rewards increased for Rivals, Champions and Squad Battles compared with FC 26. EA describes the change as an increase, not a fixed payout: the amount a player receives can vary, and no universal FC 27 match total is promised. For comparison, the update says a match in FC 26 typically earned roughly 500–600 Coins.
Claim mode rewards
Rivals and other Ultimate Team modes offer rewards, and EA also identifies SBCs among reward routes. Check the current in-game reward details and eligibility for each mode rather than assuming every activity grants the same currency or amount.

Sell Items at a fair Transfer Market price
You can earn Coins by selling eligible Items on the Transfer Market. Price listings in line with fair market value; using an Item sale to move Coins to another account is not allowed.
EA’s launch update also gives eligible matches as a way to earn 15–100 Season Points per match, up to 850 Season Points per day. Those figures are Season Points, not Coins.

How to get FC Points
EA lists these ways to obtain FC Points: the Ultimate Team Store, your platform’s store, physical retailer cards redeemable for Points, and trusted retailers. For a card or retailer purchase, check the specific offer’s region, platform compatibility and redemption conditions. EA’s safety guidance does not make buying Points a requirement for playing.

EA says redemption after September 26, 2027 yields no FC Points. Its purchase terms further state that Ultimate Edition’s 6,000 Points arrive in three equal increments and require connecting to EA servers and logging in to Ultimate Team. Other purchase routes or subscription offers may carry additional conditions. Review the current offer terms and EA’s pre-order information before purchase; edition offers and redemption requirements are time-sensitive.

EA explicitly prohibits buying Coins and distributing them between accounts. That includes sending Coins to a friend, using a third-party seller, or disguising a transfer through the Transfer Market. EA also identifies these as prohibited methods:

- Redemption: Instore and Online
- No returns and no refunds on gift cards.
- Listing an Item far above or below its average Coin price to move Coins.
- Using giveaways to distribute Coins.
- Funneling Coins or Items through multiple accounts.
Keep Transfer Market sales legitimate and close to a fair price. EA’s Coin and Points safety rules explain the permitted routes and prohibited transfers.
