To navigate AION 2 with a community map, first match its faction and zone to the zone shown in your game, then filter for one objective and use landmarks and terrain to locate markers. Treat pins as possible locations—not confirmed live spawns—and cross-check uncertain ones against the in-game map.
How to use an AION 2 map
- Match faction and zone. The community guide pairs Elyos with Verteron and Asmodian with Altgard. Confirm your current zone in the game before selecting an external map; do not assume a guide’s listed areas represent the complete or current world.
- Filter for the item you need. Hide unrelated layers and enable the matching resource or collectible category. The guide groups ores, gems, herbs, vegetables, and logs into corresponding map layers.
- Use pins as leads. A marker can indicate a possible node location, not a guaranteed active spawn. Your character may also need to meet the gathering requirement.
- Check the approach and elevation. Compare nearby landmarks and terrain, including ramps and cave entrances. A marker may be above or below your position, so a pin directly nearby on the map may not be reachable by walking straight toward it.
- Cross-check in game. If a marker does not match what you see, compare it with visible in-game landmarks and check whether the relevant exploration layers are enabled in the game map filters.
These steps reflect advice in an independent community guide, not an official publisher map specification. Its tool features and location pairings may change; use the current game client as the reference when the map and game disagree. Community map guide

These are feature descriptions from the same community guide, not a comparative hands-on evaluation. The guide does not establish that one map is more accurate or complete than another. Community map guide

The available guidance is useful for choosing a zone, narrowing visible markers, and navigating terrain. It does not establish a verified full list of AION 2 world regions, current travel mechanics, or exact live node locations. For those details, rely on the current game client or official AION 2 materials rather than inferring them from an external map.
