No current, verified guide lists where every Second Sea rod can be obtained in Fisch. The community Fisch Wiki’s current rod index still files only two rods under Second Sea: Adventurer’s Rod and Lobster Rod. Older guides from 2025 and 2026 name a larger set, and a March 2026 player report says Second Sea was removed and rods were moved into First Sea. Until each rod is confirmed in the live game, treat every older location below as historical.
Why the sources disagree
The available sources come from different dates and different kinds of authors, so they cannot be merged into one list. The table below shows what each one covers and how much weight it can carry for a current route.
| Source | Date | Type | What it covers | Status for current routes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fisch Wiki Fishing Rods | Index checked October 8, 2026 | Community wiki index | Two rods under its Second Sea subsection: Adventurer’s Rod and Lobster Rod | Most recent index, but it gives no acquisition route for Lobster Rod |
| Adventurer’s Rod page | Undated | Community wiki rod page | Describes the rod as the first one obtained on entering Second Sea | Describes the route as written; not checked against reported map changes |
| All Second Sea Rod Locations in FISCH | March 29, 2025 | Video description by a creator | Eight launch-era rods with listed costs | Historical; the video does not confirm where the rods are obtainable today |
| Community Reddit thread | March 2026 | Player report | Says Second Sea was removed and rods were relocated into First Sea | An individual account, not an official announcement, and no full rod list |
| Best Fisch Rods Ranked | 2026 | Guide | Four Second Sea rods with their old locations and costs | Conflicts with the current index; not evidence of present availability |
The Fisch Wiki describes itself as unofficial and community-run, adapted from Fandom content, and not affiliated with or endorsed by Fisch 2. Its statements are useful as community documentation, not as developer confirmation.
The two rods still listed under Second Sea
The current wiki index places these two rods in its Second Sea subsection. The index provides stats and abilities for both, but none of the sources checked establishes a current route for either one.

Adventurer’s Rod
The rod’s wiki page says it is the first rod a player obtains on entering Second Sea, after defeating Cthulhu, and that it is free. The same page notes that its low control and resilience make it a poor choice for grinding. Because the page does not carry a dated update tied to the reported map changes, the acquisition wording should be read as the wiki’s description, not as a checked in-game direction.
Lobster Rod
Lobster Rod appears in the index under Second Sea, but the sources reviewed give no acquisition method, prerequisites or location. Do not treat its presence in the index as proof that it can be obtained in the current version of the game.

The eight launch-era rods (March 2025)
The March 29, 2025 video description lists eight rods that older guides grouped as Second Sea purchases. The costs below are the figures that video gave, in in-game E$ at that time. They are historical and have not been confirmed against current prices.
| Rod | Listed cost in the 2025 video (E$) | Current route status |
|---|---|---|
| Firefly | 9,500 | Not stated; not verified |
| Wildflower | 7,000 | Not stated; not verified |
| Frog | 12,000 | Not stated; not verified |
| Great Dreamer | 500,000 | Not stated; not verified |
| Azure of Lagoon | 100,000 | Not stated; not verified |
| Blazebringer | 70,000 | Not stated; not verified |
| Verdant Shear | 100,000 | Not stated; not verified |
| Free Spirit | 200,000 | Not stated; not verified |
The video’s count of eight applies only to its own list. It is not a validated total of Second Sea rods.

Locations named by the 2026 guide
A 2026 guide, Best Fisch Rods Ranked, gives old locations for four Second Sea rods. These locations conflict with the current index, which does not place any of these rods under Second Sea except Adventurer’s Rod and Lobster Rod, so the table records what the guide says rather than where the rods can be found now.
| Rod | Location named in the 2026 guide | Listed cost in that guide (E$) |
|---|---|---|
| Great Rod of Oscar | Oscar’s Locker | 5,000,000 |
| Great Dreamer Rod | Cursed Shores | 500,000 |
| Free Spirit Rod | Isle of New Beginnings | 200,000 |
| Azure of Lagoon | Azure Lagoon | 100,000 |
What the March 2026 player report claims
A player thread from March 2026 says Second Sea was removed and that rods were brought back into First Sea at new locations. This is a single community account. It does not name the new locations of individual rods, and no developer announcement confirming the change was found in the sources reviewed. Treat it as a reported change that needs checking, not as settled fact.

How to check a rod in the live game
Because the sources disagree, verify each rod before relying on a location. The steps below require no special access.
- Open the rod’s page on the Fisch Wiki and look for a last-updated date. If none is shown, treat the route as unverified.
- Compare the rod’s listed cost with the price the game shows. A large difference suggests the rod has been moved, repriced or removed.
- Search the game’s own menus, shops and inventory for the rod name. If the rod appears, note where and at what price. If it does not appear, record that too.
- Keep a dated note of what you found. Recent, reproducible observations are more reliable than older guides, including this one.
Routes confirmed this way are the only ones that should be presented as current. Until then, the eight launch-era names and the four 2026 locations are best read as a record of how the Second Sea rods were described at those dates.
