There is no verified, exhaustive list of every free PS4 game available in July 2026. Sony’s July download charts are regional top-ten rankings for PS5 and PS4 combined, not a full catalog, and individual listings must confirm PS4 support. Here are the chart results and the safest way to find eligible games in your region.
What Sony’s July 2026 charts show
Sony published its July 2026 free-to-play download charts on August 10, 2026. The rankings are labeled “Free to Play (PS5 + PS4)” and split between US/Canada and Europe. They show the most-downloaded titles in those markets, not every game available to download for PS4. See Sony’s July 2026 chart.

Because Sony combines PS5 and PS4 in these charts, a title’s appearance does not by itself prove that it has a PS4 version. Confirm the platform on its individual PlayStation Store page before downloading.
How to find free PS4 downloads in your region
Use the free-to-play category in the PlayStation Store for your account’s region, then check each game’s supported platforms. The current US Store category labels entries “Free” and shows platforms; its search results explicitly list PS4 support for Call of Duty: Warzone, Rocket League, Destiny 2, and Fall Guys. The same category also includes PS5-only titles, so the Free label alone is not enough. Catalog availability can change; check the relevant regional listing when you are ready to download. Free-to-play downloads versus PlayStation Plus games
A game listed as free-to-play can be downloaded without paying for the base game; that does not establish whether optional in-game purchases are present. Check the game’s own listing for its terms. PlayStation Plus monthly games are a different kind of access: Sony says they are available at no extra cost while you have an active membership, with new monthly games. Download a free game on PS4
- On your PS4, open Library > Purchased.
- Select the game you want.
- Select Download.
Sony also supports remote downloads, provided the PS4 is activated as your primary console and the relevant remote-download setup is enabled. Sony’s game download instructions.

Why “every game” needs a year and region
July alone does not identify a single list: Sony publishes separate regional charts, and its August 8, 2025 post also reports July free-to-play rankings for US/Canada and Europe. The 2026 chart is a ranking rather than a complete PS4 catalog, so it cannot support an exhaustive “every game” inventory. Sony’s July 2025 chart.
