The Home Base gnome is behind the upstairs door: close the door leading downstairs, then pick up the gnome behind it to unlock “Gnome from Home.” The locations below follow a campaign-wide list published by Rafael Ramos and credited to TheGamer; the Home Base clue is also confirmed by Epic Games Store’s official guide.
Evidence note: The job-by-job locations below come from a secondary guide last updated October 28, 2025. Epic’s official guide independently confirms the Home Base location, but not the rest of the inventory. If a gnome or achievement behaves differently in your game, check whether a later patch changed it.
Where to find the gnome at Home Base
- Go upstairs to the room with the Job Map and cats.
- Close the door leading downstairs.
- Pick up the gnome behind the closed door to unlock “Gnome from Home.”
The door can hide the gnome from view, so make sure it is closed before searching behind it.
Gnome locations by job
Use this list to distinguish gnomes you can collect from ones the guide describes as decorative or out of reach. “No gnome reported” means the guide did not list one for that job; it is not a developer-confirmed absence.

Early jobs
- Removals Van: Behind a bush in front of the moving van.
- Public Facility: In the window above the awning on the left; use a ladder.

- Art Deco House: No gnome reported.
- Dog Car: Turn toward the base; the gnome is behind the farthest pillar on the left.
- Billboard: No gnome reported.

- Car & Trailer: Inaccessible, on the roof of the Art Deco House.
- Theatre: Sitting in the front row facing the stage.
- Motel: No gnome reported.

- Streetcar: No gnome reported.
- Salvage House: Inside the chimney. Climb the side stairs and use the portable ladder.
- Mining Dumpster: At the far end of the mine tunnel opposite the cabin, on the right.

- Shopping Mall: No gnome reported.
- Futuristic Bike: Distant, in front of the gas station across the street.
- Theater Sets: Inaccessible in the projection booth high on the back wall.
- 18 Wheeler: No gnome reported. The guide mentions a visitor on the balcony of the cleaned motel, not a gnome.
- Town Floats: At the bus stop; follow the floats to the end and turn left.
- Mount Rushless: Two gnomes are reported outside the entrance: one in the large tree on the left and another behind the scooter on the right.
Gnome achievements and what counts
Tea Time
Put a gnome on every seat in Teapot Tea Room to earn “Tea Time.” The guide reports six gnomes at this job, matching the number of seats described for the achievement in the community wiki.
Rise and Shine
Place a movable gnome on a Scissor Lift and fully extend the lift for “Rise and Shine.” The guide recommends using the roof gnome for this task. Its reported requirement is also described by the community wiki.
Rank #2
Collectible versus visible
Not every gnome you can see is obtainable. The guide specifically calls the Campsite gnome visible but uncollectable, describes several others as inaccessible or decorative, and does not report a gnome for a number of jobs. It reports 38 job locations overall and says most related objectives can be completed in Career or Free Play, with a story-completion exception; that count and mode guidance are secondary reporting, not developer-published statistics.

The detailed inventory is secondary reporting credited to TheGamer, last updated October 28, 2025. The only location corroborated here by an official source is Home Base, in Epic Games Store’s guide. The official PlayStation page confirms a PS5 version and describes Home Base, new tools and co-op, but does not verify this gnome list.
